- Give decrepify a lucky hit chance. It’s not going to do much for non-Affliction necros, but would mean the world to the affliction necros.
- redirected force is simply a non-starter because the only way to boost block chance is through spiked armor for 10% and a shield for 20%. Shield is no good because Affliction needs the double damage temper. I was really hoping this was something that could scale into the endgame as Affliction is really the only spec that focuses solely on crit damage. Changing spiked armor to give 5% block chance per level would really scale into masterworking endgame stuff with redirected force.
- wither applies to Affliction procs. Another way to scale into the endgame. This path could just apply wither to affliction or change Affliction into a dot. Changing Affliction into a dot does cascade into a world of other necessary changes (removing the reliance on crit scaling, not having affliction be able to qualify itself).
In theory, affliction caps out around pit 85 or so, maybe pushing 90. That’s not bad, but it’s a fun build and would be fun to see it hit 110+.
