Aethers still not showing

I’ve never seen an issue go unresolved like this with Blizzard. Little things that turn you off to content, eventually it all seems to be fraying at the edges. It now has gotten to the point where one can’t enjoy any parts of the game, because there just isn’t any balance. This game has gotten to be way extreme in style and follow-up. A response would be tantamount to confession? Thus addressing the issues or telling us that you simply can’t fix whatever is causing all the horrible play time and experience? This is crazy actually, ya’ll on drugs or something to not give a damn like this.

In all due fairness to Blizzard, they have fixed this problem. I have done a few Infernal Horde runs and I can see the Aether Counts and how many waves I’ve done earlier this week. I’m not sure why you are not seeing this. But if it continues, you may want to reach out to Blizzard tech support or customer service and let them know. - JJ -

It still happens to some users I’ve been seeing them and then my last few hordes I couldn’t see it at all. Couldn’t see strong rooms timers either was weird. Relogged and problem was fixed. It’s happening a lot less than last season for sure

Waves count is working correctly now for me. but the aether count is still not showing up.

I see both wave count and aether count most runs.

Then sometimes one or the other won’t work.

It’s the nature of bugs. Sometimes you fix it, other times you only think you did.

It’s not easy and yes it is frustrating, but it’s never as easy as people not involved in the code think.

If it works fine for a bunch of people and doesn’t work for a handful of others, it gets so much harder to replicate and fix.

It will get fixed, eventually.

I wouldn’t have came here if it was resolved, I don’t even feel like it matters anyways, so this isn’t contributing to anything at all, giving kudos from one’s anecdotal experiences doesn’t, didn’t fix my horde aether count.

Gonna stop you right there. You must be new to Blizzard if this is your first sentence about a topic like this. I could name a number of bad bugs in all of their games that have never been fixed. Also they hardly ever address bugs to the public, it’s very rare when they do.

It’d be great if they could give us a list of bugs they’ve acknowledged. Sadly I don’t see it happening with Blizzard. Some companies actually do this, Blizzard is not one of them.

I stand corrected, friend.

It was working fine earlier this week and now it’s not working again. Sheesh! Blizzard D4 Team, can you fix and improve the game already! What the damn hell are you all doing allowing these bugs, issues and problems and NOT fixing them!? Get it together, Blizzard D4 Team! You can do better!

This is just messed up and unacceptable!! D4 Players can’t even see their Aether Count and I thought this was fixed! Hopefully, Blizzard will get around to fixing this and the game overall soon! Unreal! - JJ -

It sometimes works, other times it doesn’t. On and off for me really.

The problem should be fixed with the patch coming next week:

“Fixed an issue where the Aether Counter in Infernal Hordes would not appear if the player entered from a Horadric Strongroom”

Kinda wonder what your Time Observed denominator is for this statement, coz I have to echo other posts to posit it’s pretty damn common actually. And actually I kind of feel sorry for the devs in a way, especially since if coming from a Horadric strongroom affects aether count display in hordes (?!?!!??) then that debugging must be like untangling the Gordian knot.

Also interesting is that people are seeing the bug fixed for a little while and then bugged at other times. Which makes me want to keep an eye out for the return of the infinite damage Enlightenment Sorcerer bug they just “fixed.” Although that bug is kind of a tedious setup, let’s face it, seeing ppl complete pit 150 and defeating T4 Belial while “naked” is simply hilarious.
