This was always the plan after the Microsoft acquisition. He was supposed to stay on for 6 months to finish the transition and then step down. I wanna say the article i read back in June said February, but i may be mistaken.

Not exactly news, we all knew this was going to happen when the Microsoft Buyout was finalized. Grand scheme of things, it won’t change anything.
