Act 3 Elias
First time I attempted - first 2 fights went all good, then the 3rd fight - he turned invulnerable about at 70-80% hp and stayed that way. Ran around for about 10 minutes clearing adds trying to figure out if I was missing some mechanic but eventually gave up.
Tried the second time and channeling minions that gave him shield correctly spawned this time and cleared the boss.
Appears the channeling minions somehow didn’t spawn the first time and there was no way to remove his invulnerability shield - as I used a lot of AOE trying to clear other adds I don’t think it was a graphics bug of channeling minions being invisible.
This just happened to me. Will try again tomorrow.
I just had the same issue.
Still not fixed, just happened to me. How long does it take to fix a progress-blocking bug around here?
Particularly annoying since leaving and re-entering sends you back to the waypoint and makes you redo most of the sequence…
EDIT Oh, hey, it happened twice in a row now, this time I didn’t even get to the final fight. Gonna take the time to write a negative review in the Steam forum and advise people not to buy a game that takes more than a frickin’ year to fix a bug that can block progress through the main story before trying one more time - if it fails again, I’m going to seriously consider demanding a refund. If this was a recent bug I could tolerate it but reported over a year ago and still happening? Seriously?
EDIT 2: Third try lucky. If it helps, either for fixing it or for bypassing it, it seems to be related to killing his cultists before they’ve fully spawned - if one dies too fast, it doesn’t register as having been killed and the invulnerability doesn’t turn off. Can’t see the underlying behaviour so I’m not 100% sure that’s it, of course, but holding off on AoEs when the cultists were spawning and then killing them one by one seemed to make the difference.
I just ran into this bug. I think it is killing the first cultists before they can spawn in. The second time I did this fight I just waited until they were fully spawned before unleashing my fury and it went fine then.
BUMP this is still happening. I have skeletal minions so they’re just killing anything they see asap. I’ll turn them off before going into battle, but it’s going to leave my necro terribly vulnerable until I can make them again off of the spawning minions. I’ve wasted so much time, this is entirely frustrating
