As the title says… Mortified. It was the reason I wanted to try and get back into the game. Seems incredibly unreasonable that to click decline (thinking I could go and give it some thought on which character to use it on, then come back) you lose it permanently.
There’s no support help for this, my only recourse is to moan about it on here, where I suspect no one will see it, never mind be able to do anything about it… sigh
