Accessability: Play audio when targeting objects

Submitting this feedback for a blind D4 player:

This feedback is about the “Play audio when targeting objects” accessibility feature.

Currently, some important interactable objects do not play any sound when targeted. For example, Horadric Chests in Nightmare Dungeons produce no audio cue at all. The same issue occurs with the eyes in the Pit.

This is especially frustrating in dungeons, because when playing blind—without visual cues, navigation assistance, or additional tools—you rely entirely on audio feedback to move through the environment. Regular chests, weapon racks, and lootable corpses all produce sounds, so it’s reasonable to expect the same behavior from these special reward objects.

The problem is that Horadric Chests, which contain important rewards, can currently only be looted if I happen to walk directly over them by chance. This makes them easy to miss and creates an unnecessary accessibility barrier.

Please consider adding proper audio cues for these objects when the targeting audio option is enabled, so they are consistent with other lootable objects and accessible to blind players.

while its certainly no error to post this here, blizzard does have a dedicated email adress for accessability requests. Eventually you want to check it out =)

How can u possibly play the game while blind?

Is it just like playing with everything fuzzy and such?

Blind gamers play video games using immersive audio cues, screen narration, and haptic feedback, combined with specialized accessibility features like text-to-speech, customizable interfaces (high contrast, large text, screen readers), and simplified controls, allowing them to navigate, understand game states, and perform actions through sound and vibration, turning visual information into auditory or tactile experiences
