We have to do the seasonal crap again on any SC characters we make too. We do keep our progress though when it comes to the powers we’ve collected and upgraded.

YEP I UNDERSTAND WE LOOSE THE TOONS BUT WHY ALL GEMS AND GLYPHS SO MUCH WORK GOES INTO CREATING THE CHARACTER TO LOOSE EVERYTHING . The issue here seems to be you can’t accept the consequences of playing HC. So you want them to lessen the penalties. That’s not the point of HC, it’s supposed to be punishing. You have to pay attention every step of the way or you risk losing it all.
It’s basically a roguelite, and if you die you start all over again from the beginning.

You know you could always put valuable items into your stash periodically in case you die in HC. That can help make re-levelling easier.

Heres what you do. Create a character on HC, get a friend to lvl you to 60. Do your season stuff, stay alive. When finished, create another one so your stuff will save on the season.
I noticed that when i deleted my 1 HC all my stuff in stash was gone. Same for season. Dont die. Stay on normal till you are geared properly.
As others have said, you probably dont have the stomach for HC so play SC.
