Interesting that you mention this. As a wise (or not) gentleman of 62 I definitely use WASD for first all person shooters, but never for ARPGs. I think mainly because there is usually to much stuff in the way of trying to move. Plus I need the fingers freed up for fighting and potions to stay alive.

I can definitely see where if you are used to using them and that is your style then you want them moving forward as well.

Maybe just use a controller? You only have 6 active skills so controller would work just fine.

I feel this. I was constantly burning Evade charges

For some reason the children of the internet suddenly decided to call anyone older than them a “boomer”…which is pretty much everyone. It really makes them look stupid.

Some of the kids on the forum are great for comic relief. Low IQ troglodytes acting like they know everything.

I’ll tell you Archangel that I’m used to stupid nicknames, like Old girl, Cougar, Mamy (I don’t care I was part of the Grandpa Warrior Guild for years on various MMOs: prohibition to be under 30 years old, the oldest has just celebrated his 79th birthday in this multi-game Guild), we must let the new generation have fun with us, They are the ones who pretend to be donkeys. We have several years of experience behind us whether on Diablo, WoW or any other MMO, RPG, …
Personally, it amuses me their comments.

Hello KittyKat85, some games, especially “multiple key to do some kind of action or spell or skill, etcetera”, require a decent peripheral instead of your generic keyboard or laptop built in keyboard.

I have been using the razer hex key mouse up until 2021, when I upgraded to the Naga trinity using the 7 side button plate (instead of Hex’s 6). The mouse has room enough to put your chosen action buttons: 1 2 3 and 4 plus the q for pot on it.

I also have been using the razer Tartarus for the left hand. It has my most used keys for the game put in a pattern of my choice for say the: map, log, pressing one button which is coded as the “shift” key so my toon will stand still and fire ranged spells off continuously, as well as the town portal, the ESC key and your character page, abilities, skills, etcetera.

Both are programmable and I have used the multi button mouse since I began playing WoW over a decade ago. These devices are life savers in being able to play any game efficiently. I believe that there are numerous companies that produce their own versions of these types of controllers. I hope that this might help you and others who may not know about them, to be able to enjoy playing your game and not lay waste to mashing keys on your keyboards.

I could not play either Diablo or WoW without them as I have a gaming laptop with the small chicklet keys which would have been broken long ago if I had used just the built in keyboard.

Why can’t we have a feedback forum?

On Blizzard Forums the General Discussion forum is the Feedback forum.

The only exception is when it’s PTR time. For that, they have 2 forums:

  1. PTR Feedback
  2. PTR Bug Report

There is no general discussion tho, its PC or Console. people might report the same feedback twice but I see what you mean

Well, we’re still in Beta. I’m sure that after the final release, the forums will be restructured, just like with all previous Blizzard games.

They’ll need Class Forums, Player Help Forums, etc.
