I was thinking while bored at work. Why didn’t Blizzard do the smart thing with classes, and launch the game with all of the classes from the previous games. If we already had witch doctor, paladin, amazon, etc. people wouldn’t complain about getting new classes over old, as the old would all be accounted for.
I don’t understand why you wouldn’t do this. PoE 2 is launching with all the original classes -scion, plus some new additions. It just makes sense to do it that way.
I know people will say “to sell more expansions” but they could still accomplish that with new and exciting classes. Nothing is lost by doing it this way, its all gains.
