About inarius and his end

I’m not sure it matters where the death occurred. Diablo was killed in Heaven in D3 and he’s back in Hell chilling with his weakened bros, as far as we know.

It was def foreshadowing the birth of a new big evil imo. At least that’s my head canon. Inarius was the embodiment of pride, which is a sin.

And stupidity.

The light will pierce Hatred’s Heart.

And he stabs her in the stomach!

Yeah, I suspect all three prime evils will return before we’re done at some point.

There are several instances in D3 where it’s refered to Tyrael as mortal.

There are a lot of parallels between Inarius and Satan. I don’t know if this was intentional on the part of the writers but it’s hard to believe that it’s just coincidence.

A once high-ranking angel that becomes completely self-absorbed and prideful leading to hubris and their own downfall. Inarius is just a little more tragic and maybe his hate for humanity is a little less personal.

I hate to be a stickler, but Satans direct definition is enemy. Lucifer is satan but satan isnt lucifer. Satan would be any demon :man_shrugging: comman misconception

Based on d2 loreninarius was captured and turn into a demon named izual

There’s also an audio log with a voice actor for the crusaders that sounds like Kormac from D3.

Tyrael is working with Kormac to establish a new Order in Westmarch. A new temple, training holy specced Paladins.
