So you’re making an end game specific builds requirement for players to play to even further shrink the variety of builds this game has and make you have to reset all your skills/glyphs/gears to follow others? Uh, you guys did that already and its called Set Items in D3 and it was a mistake because it narrowed every class to something to do, I am sorry. I don’t want to wait for each season to end just to see everyone play a specific OP build again. Listen, you can do whatever you want to please those who plays the game by always using the same build because they think Diablo 4 is a finalized product that they just want to use the strongest build. But what about those who play this game that actually wants to get better at learning the game and develop real skills in gaming? What I mean is, you just unbalanced the whole game, how are casuals going to go PvP when there are those who has the Blood Sigil Glyph to make them even stronger than they are already. What about World Boss? It kinda stupid to go there and see some guy that 1 shots the boss. I’ve tried the Tier 1 Blood Sigil, and I could barely get through the first two mobs and don’t act like I need better gears because I’ve been grinding gears for the majority of the time since I was lvl100 like 2 months ago.
so the new content is a mistake because you cant do it?
AOZ is only (so far) seasonal for this season.
Out of curiosity, what is your class and armor/health/damage reduction?
Direct quote from Blizzard
“Customization is a cornerstone of Diablo IV. From how your character looks, to the Skills they wield, to the appearance of their Gear and Mount, Diablo IV empowers players with a level of agency never previously offered in a Diablo game. The decision of what type of wanderer you want to play in the world of Sanctuary begins at the Class selection screen and follows you into the Endgame. It’s up to YOU to decide how your character will grow and evolve as they pursue Lilith.”
What part of this patch retains the entity of this?
it doesnt say that whatever you build, makes you being able to handle everything
Have you even comfortably clear NM 100 solo? If not, don’t even bother T1.
I have 4 classes at lvl100, I am currently a Rogue, probably the best in terms of overall performance. Like I said, I can sorta do Tier 1 by getting through the first two groups of mobs, but I will still get 1 shotted if I don’t have all my buffs up. My stats are basically what you would called optimal without copying someone’s else build from an online source. Up until this point, only Uber Lilith is not achieveable. I logged out already, and I don’t feel like checking my stats for you my friend. But like I said, when I play with others whether its PvP or NM Dungeons with friends, I can hold my own usually because I am currently hitting a wall at lvl +70 NM Dungeons. What I am trying to say is instead of working on new stuff, take a step back and look at what your game already has and build things from the source like storyline which is the true content of a game.
I play a rogue as well this season, if you’re hitting a wall at NM 70 you’re going to struggle with AOZ T1. With my rogue I’ve been running NM 100s all week getting ready given that’s basically the starting level of AOZ T1. From memory I’m at like 15k health, 11k armor, 18k attack power all before any procs, and I could probably still use one or two better rolled pieces.
my god
if you can’t do 70 NM dung as rogue… IN THE EASIEST SEASON WITH VAMP POWERS
then your build is bad and you have to improve
I was doing 80 NM dung on eternal, with 0 uber uniques
With tibault will bug (22 combo points) + rapid fire or twisted blade or most other rogue builds, you should be breeezing through T80, and with the right EQ & paragons, ez T100… ecspecially if u get the uber uniques.
Meh, you’re right, OP, but please only pay attention to the distraction of constantly adding new bosses and hoping you’ll grind your life away. Nevermind the fact that the itemization is the worst to ever exist in an ARPG and there’s nothing to do once you reach the endgame.
Leave things like build diversity to studios that aren’t performing cubicle crawls and being sued for millions.
How?
must be 20 characters
Lol that quote was for regular diablo 4 , AoZ was advertised as so difficult it would be hard to finish, its the direct answer to players like me that complained content was too easy. I can do T100 with 3 leech without breaking a sweat. You are the the player this patch was made for.
I’ve got some good rolled % armor on a few pieces, I don’t remember what off the top of my head though unfortunately. Some paragon nodes too.
I’m sorry but…I was running 70+ a couple of hours after ding lvl 100 with a necro using a crap paragon board and 800’s items. You reaaaaally must be doing something wrong
My necros at about 21k health, 9k armour and 20k attack power max resists etc. doesn’t make me think that AoZ “has to be for me”.
You guys enjoy the AoZ, I’ll enjoy doing what I usually do
times are here.
I don’t know, I played only a bit before work. With a blood surge necro with 9k armor, max resists, 25k life. I did stack a lot of damage reduction where it was available and don’t have disobedience. No Uber uniques. Didn’t even change my paragon boards to suit the glyph.
Wasn’t melting anything, but I made steady progress. I obviously didn’t die but there were some close moments.
I think a lot of AoZ comes down to RNG and your ability to know your build in the end. As you can see my build isn’t considered top tier but it’s doable. Learn when to push forward and when to hold back. Every build has different strengths and weaknesses so you can’t all play the same. Yeah HotA is going to run in and smash but BL isn’t. My build relies a lot on self healing and knowing when I’m going to take too much damage from a pack is critical to my success, so I take half packs on and kite to keep them spread out enough to limit their ability to hit me. I know already that taking a whole pack because I’m worried about time will just leave me dead.
I said it in a twitch stream while I was playing, AoZ isn’t only about the power of your build. There’s a significant amount of skill needed, even when you play to super builds. Think about how you’re going to take the fights, don’t get mad when you get owned by rough affixes, and importantly stay calm.
Whatever man. You get your first NM Dungeon Sigil at character lvl 70 on World Tier 4, the highest difficulty. With the +54 monster lvl, you are right on track on if you’re doing NM Dungeons lvl16. So as you get Ancestral and upgrading Glyphs, you should be doing NM Dungeons lvl46 at character lvl100 when maxed out. At that point, you are IN end game only getting upgrades that will give you a small boost. So doing another +24 NM Dungeons level (monster lvl 124) higher difficulty NM Dungeons isn’t something I don’t think is anything to be ashamed of. The bottom line is, they are only short selling themselves of this game with rewarding those who follow a specific set of rules to play hence punishing those who are in between competitive and eager to improvise so they can figure things out with the build they have control over rather than using a scroll of reset and copy and paste someone’s else or even worst, exploiting a bug but we’ll talk about that at another time.
Am I reading that right, you can sorta do Tier 1, but are hitting a wall with T70 NMDs?
Tier 1 for The Blood Sigil, the monsters are lvl 155.
So if you’re not good enough to do endgame stuff then its a mistake on Blizzards part?? Hello Kitty is that way ------->
