OK, so we all know the network disconnect, lagging and etc. problems are NOT our pcs, but Blizzard’s servers. Blizzard either can’t or won’t fix this problem. Here are some option or work arounds to try to play the game. First of all, teleport as little as possible. Go to nightmare dungeons on foot. Teleporting usually results in losing your sigil, and trying to ride your horse gets you killed, or network dropped. Play the game at off peak hours; usually sometime in the early am, 3 to 6 am. This isn’t a guarantee. Know that when you teleport, you’ll get networked dropped almost 100% of the time but upon restart will reach your destination. I’m now at level 82 in Torment and the game is not very interesting, but like a fool I keep playing hoping for more. I truly believe that D4 will go down in PC gaming history as the worst game ever and the biggest embarrassment for Blizzard. Hope this helps a bit.
What you are describing doesn’t happen to me.
I do see some rubberbanding at legion events.
And the Boss Fights have had issues with warping or turning into snapshots when more than one Barber was around, and I suspect it is a combination of Barber and Corpse Tendrils that causes it, I opened a ticket for it, but only Blizz can get to the bottom of that.
I don’t have issues with teleporting.
Run the traceroute to their server.
Also check that your network adapter’s power management is not being handled by windows. One of the windows updates set that back to “let windows manage” for me and I thought it was Blizz’s patch when it really wasn’t for about a week.
Have had maybe 3 disconnects on season server since, total.
Eternal disconnects me a bit more.
me neither - i do have some rubberbanding in open world which can be annoying but isnt too big of a deal. in NMDs i dont rubberband at all. (well maybe once or twice)
thanks for the hint with the network adapter, if a windows update reseted that, i might as well also check it as i currently do have quite a lot of issues with discord weirdly enough.
lol you were right, my energy settings were set to balanced for whatever reason.
My solution is to download and play Path of Exiles and pretend you are playing D4 instead. You will have a much more enjoyable experience, trust me.

In general, adding a VPN will make things worse. This last update I’ve noticed more issues with the keyboard not recognizing the ESC key properly. Rubberbanding is much worse which most likely has nothing to do at the patch but???
Let’s get some of the must have issues fixed, such as not killing off hardcore characters when the gang crashes or you get disconnected.
