I guess we all know what a legendary and a unique looks like on the ground. What developers could do is add a second layer of effect to the light beam. For example, a purple spiral around the light. If it is a normal object, you only place the purple spiral.
The uniques already have a spiral, so that effect could be reused.
Also, the spiral could be bigger, or have more “spirals” to show how many stats are bigger.
Thus, the main ray defines what type of object it is (none are rare, brown/orange are legendary, pale are unique) and the surrounding spiral shows whether it has higher stats (One for each greater Stat)

Tell me you did watch the dev stream without telling me you did watch the dev stream
The amount of “ideas/suggestions” made into topics here in the sense of “i made this idea up” of the exact thing they showed in the dev stream is amazing lmao

I saw it, but English is not my native language, so I probably didn’t hear it very well.
What I did see is the almost invisible number number next to the name of the object.
In any case, if this idea was already presented, I love it. Brilliant minds think alike :v
Well they have a new beam, they even showed a picture of it so yeah…

Can you tell me the exact minute to watch it again?
Or at least a closest one?
its not needed. you will know when you look at it after you pick it up. the drop rates are drastically reduced so you wont have a full inventory until you run several nmds.

Edit: you trolled me well. This is what happens to me for believing in random people on the internet… No purple rays, no spirals. I suppose they could have still said it and I hadn’t noticed… but now I highly doubt it now.
there is a another solution , able to see stats on mouse over…before picking the loot
Very bad solution in my opinion. So bad that it surely needs the addition of a Loot Filter, but a solution after all…
