Hi, I feel like the PTR for Season 8 is a step in the right direction difficulty levels and the bosspowers are really cool.
However, to be honest I think the diffficulty level still is way to easy. Lair bosses on T4 are supposed to be difficult and not for every casual player to farm. You can farm them on T1, T2 or T3 without that big of a loss if you find T4 overwhelming. T4 should be a pinnacle and challenge for high end players, not a place for speedfarming for everyone.
Just nerf all damage multipliers alot, I dont mind having to farm T1, T2 and T3 the entire season, never reaching T4. I mean everything is unlocked at T1. Just let the game have some challenge to it, that´s the entire point of Torment levels, so everyone can choose a difficulty for their endgame.
I think it’s a big mistake to equate what Blizz have with increasing difficultly level - what they have done is make the game slower and, as end game content is against the clock, therefore harder - things are not more diffidlut or enjoyable - just more frustrating. I’m glad you’re liking it, but for me season is a bust already!

Because in this game, broadly speaking, actual skill does not matter beyond the basic understanding is what order to do your abilities in and when to use them. When someone says “I beat pit level 120” I translate that in my head to “I have a character who is strong enough to beat pit level 120”. It’s not like you can outplay pit tiers in any real sense.
Grinding for days to overcome what is effectively a gear check isn’t really conventional video game difficulty. It’s just a barometer on how much time you want to run on the treadmill.
