Hi, I guess there’s a problem with season blessings.
First I choose Urn of ancestral whispers 4/4 which should’ve guaranteed an ancestral cache but it did not. After that I’ve given my points to the Urn of lies which is %80 at the moment(max) but in the last 10-12 bosses Belial didn’t show up.
Yeah I know %80 isn’t %100 but it’s still %80 not %8 and the other one the ancestral whispers was in fact %100.
Anybody else having the same issues?
The Seasons Blessings unlocked with Smoldering Ashes don’t set the chances for certain events, they rather modify the base chances. That’s why the descriptions for most of them say “Boosts the chance…”
So, a maxed out Urn of Ancestral Whispers, giving +100% chance for an Ancestral Cache, doesn’t necessarily result in a 100% chance. If the base chance was 10%, just as an example, then the maxed out urn would result in a 20% chance
The only exception to this would be the Urn of Glyphs, which actually “Grants a chance to earn an extra upgrade […]”, resulting in a flat 100% chance when maxed out

Okay i had to search this because i thought the same way…so for urn of ancestral couldn’t they put in small print under that the current rate is only like 5%, so at 4 points it would make it 10%, instead of us thinking out of the 3 options 1 will be 100% ancestral.

if your explanation is correct as it seems to be in practice, the wording of the urns is extremely misleading. The devs should reword the text. A simple fix that would reduce the frustration of their customers. Sadly, the urns are not as generous (or worthwhile) as they appeared to be initially.
