This is so silly.
Instead of making something meaningful that would actually interest players in seasons like: âIf you beat Season Uber lilith, you have a decent chance to drop that Uber Uniqueâ, they would rather do weird stuff like whatever it is they do, while the whole community watches them in disgust.
Blizzard Devs are the living example of why Game Designers are the most important assets when making a game, and that Devs should just shut up and do what they are told.
(note, if youâre a talentless Game Designer, then youâre just a Dev, then, see above).
I thought thought they said it was only 5 Class Uniques, 5 Class Aspects and 2 General Aspects.

lol, if this is really true then I donât see the point.
Iâm guessing most of the people who are interested in uber uniques arenât even close to done farming the original ones. The existing ones arenât common enough to be stale yet; we donât need new ones every season.

My personal feedback for this is just , no. I donât care about some item Iâll never get and even if I won that lottery I still wonât be excited because Iâm only gonna play seasons and itâs very temporary at best. Put your development effort into better things than these pointless âUber uniquesâ. Thanks
I want to like this game. Even though I was baffled that this team seemed to either forget or ignore what made the previous installments of the franchise fun, engaging, and re-playable, I was willing to give them a pass if they demonstrated they would move this game in that direction as seasons progressed.
Then with this announcement, itâs like the dev team doubled down on one of the worst and most complained about parts of this game, and gave everyone the double bird.
Whatever. Itâs not the first time Iâve been disappointed, and it certainly wonât be the last.
Whether or not this counts as one of the 6 mentioned, they will actually be increasing the ratio of âuberâ to regular uniques. Mind-boggling.

Weâll have to wait until the 18th.
I still want to know what the season journey rewards are if there are only 5 new aspects per class.
These guys donât know what they are doing. Game will get better when Microsoft brings in new talent.
I mean⌠They claim that eventually the drop rates for those super Uber uniques WILL be increased? When is anybodyâs guessâŚ. But with 666million in opening sales and a ton of casuals to farm Iâm thinking the loudest and most affected by this (getting or not getting Ubers) will be ignored.
Sorry but you can totally tell that they have built an ivory tower out of this success and are living in it already. Sure they might listen to the popular streamers and content creators, article writers and prominent people. BUT I highly doubt they will listen to the vocal minority on the forums. Iâm one of themâŚ

Itâs a 100% UNsustainable model to have items behind an impossible grindwall like that.
The items drop% were largely launch PR snowflake items.
Itâs only been 5 weeks after all.
Weâll have our Shakoâs etc someday.
Theyâre really attempting to use those crappy uniques as end game bait.
No, I donât want to grind level 85+ mobs for 12 years for a small fraction of a chance of getting one piece of loot.

Honestly weâd all be much more satisfied and accepting of the Uber uniques if we had BETTER class uniques overall AND more middle tier uniques that were useful.
Gore Riders are my favorite to use as a comparison. In Diablo 2 they had 30% FRW, 10% chance of Open Wounds and 15% CB/DS. (Crushing Blow/Deadly Strike)
So in D4 they could have standard RNG range for run speed affix, Critical chance same RNG, bleeding damage affix and overpower damage. For the unique ability it could have something fun like bleeding targets are slowed or damage reduced or anything like thatâŚ
Thatâs a very interesting gear choice nowâŚ. Wonât have any stats or resource modifiers so players will need to make a choice and itâs a great trade off. Another fun one to add would be the Vampire Gaze. But I could go on and onâŚ

They way I see it now is they probably talked about item bloat⌠Since the problem they also have is inventory space. Not sure if that is the reason or not? But with 4 x 3month season per year and and they plan to support this for 10 years⌠Thatâs 240 new uniques per total seasons.
If they add even more per expansion (they claim they have those coming also) then I can see why they wouldnât want to overwhelm players still learning the paragon, skill tree, aspects and codex and the various merchants and mechanisms.
