Season in, season out, our inventory’s are cluttered with possible Aspects for other builds and the little bit recently added to our inventory hasn’t really offered an overall solid solution. Then it dawned on me.
When applying aspects we have a codex system which does offer the minimum roll for a desired aspect once obtained from a dungeon. We can also extract more powerful versions of those aspects.
However, lets say for each aspect you extract, you’re given a choice. Instead of going to the aspect inventory slot or cluttering the stash as a legendary, the other option raises that aspects’ codex minimum to an AVERAGE VALUE OF THE ASPECT EXTRACTED! EUREKA! The higher the rolls that are extracted the closer to max codex imprint you achieve!

Perhaps you get a max roll aspect and would like the choice of using that one on gear instead of the codex, you still can. But for the lackluster aspect rolls, they don’t go completely to waste as they can still be applied to your codex.

Penalties for imprinting the codex version is that it ‘halves’ or just decreases the accrued value by a percentage leaving you needing to farm that aspect to bring it back to a desired value for the next upgrade.
Idk, what do y’all think?
