He can use pure light/holy based abilities
Or Pure Dark(Fallen Angle)
Heavy focus on Shields that absorbs/burn/repel
Rain Holy or Corrupt Dark fire down in enemies
A mix between and mage/warrior
Vibrant looking spells
Staggering Multi Blow attacks.(Shield Cleave)
Blinding CC abilities/Dark veil Confusion.
Team Weapon Buffs.
I guess I want a super paladin with epic holy magic but also able to pull from the dark side
But look angelic

That’s essentially what I want to see, too. 
Something beyond the supplicant knight variety holy class. With the Heavens in disarray and so many ‘dead’ angels there are a bunch of possibilities for adding a cosmic entity to/as a class.
I like the idea of a recoalescing ‘dead’ angel being a parasitic being trapped in Sanctuary. Maybe it needs to kill to devour souls for power? Or maybe it needs a host like an Inarius cultist to gestate within? Something wild like that is way better than another paladin!

One can only hope! We still see what the future brings, I would still be happy to see a pally brought back.
For sure! I’ve played Pally and Crusader to death, but they’ll always be awesome.
