this guy has a lot of play experience in the ARPG genre and diablo games in particular. if yall like the review leave a comment, maybe blizzard will see this, the more comments that are left. he discusses the good and bad with a level head.
whether it be good thoughts on the game or bad, it matters not to me. so long as it is constructive is all that really matters.

Oh my goodness. I’ve lost track of how many times this has been posted.
Anyone have a tally?
At this point, think I’m gonna have to institute drinking game rules - whenever this is posted, drink.

welp, last time i try to be helpful. thanks guys.
Can we stop being sheeps and mindlessly follow streamers? Think on your own, write your own thoughts, stop giving them money/views which gave them money…
alright, share your thoughts. what do you think about the game? give your opinions. i failed to really see anything constructive from you.
i shared a video because this individuals thoughts i felt i could mostly agree with.

I already gave my opinion here, even a score. I gave the game 5/10 because it felt like a mobile game, with different micro managements, pop ups and way more materials and upgrades that I can see it being pushed to the cash shop as “convenience”.
It’s the first diablo that it feels like an asian mmo and that’s not good at all.
My Brother, the forum is awash, nay steeped, in thoughts. Please, peruse away to your heart’s content. Happy to provide direction, but I have found that most learn best with the slightest hand and by their own free will.
I just watched the video , then saw this thread. All i can say hes right , he seems like he knows what hes talkin about. The dungeons feels repetitive , level scaling seems weird in a diablo gamewhich brings up the fact that you get weaker with level ups, items are good for you current level after you level up you get better stat ranges on them which makes them weak, class balance at the beta seems out way off. But in the end its just the beta , we dont know how things going to work out at later stages of the game , maybe dungeons will get way more mechanics as you progress and melee vs ranged balance is nearly perfect. We dont have to wait much and find out ourselves.
fair enough, thank you for sharing your opinion on the game. the only goal of this post was to perhaps give yet more information for blizzard to look at and to foster other peoples opinions. this is a forum for a game in a beta state. there are going to be numerous posts soliciting peoples thoughts and requesting the same from others. i looked through the latest like 50 posts and saw nothing in regards to this video. my fault for not looking further.

D4, still has space to evolve.
I played PoE in the early days of it, it was not that great, and had the typical ARPG where you have to replay acts over and over like D2, then they expanded on it and made more acts as to make it less repetitive, but it has has many years to reach the place it is now, and sure Kripp, is right about it being at the top of ARPG’s, however it is not casual friendly, and that is the audience that Diablo games have always been able to cater too, because the casual players are way more then the hardcore players.
D4 still has time to grow, and it has potential.
To me D4 hit the sweet spot when it comes to graphics, gameplay and so far I am happy with the lore, of course there are things I would like to see balanced or expanded on etc, but as I’ve said multiple times, there is time for them to build on the game over time and make it better.
We as gamers are very fast to judge, but we never take in consideration the amount of work that goes into creating a game, it’s a painstaking process.
It’s like building a house or a car, most of us bought a ready build home or ready to drive car, but only those who truly built it know how painful and hard it was to build those, from concept to finished product.
With that said, maybe we should give it some time and be patient for a little while.

thank you! i completely agree with this as well. building off of this and what was in the video, there is no telling exactly what version of the client we were playing, i feel like they would not make the latest version the thing we play as that is likely unstable or contains things not fleshed out and they will for certain be keeping in mind that when we as players see something in a beta we assume that it will 100% be in the game or a similar experience from what we played in a beta.
this will be a live service game so it more than likely will continue to grow and will have to go down the same road Path of exile and other live service games go, just like you mentioned.
finally, all of our knowledge is coming from only a slice of the game, things will likely diversify in all areas (mob types, build types, etc) later on. already mentioned issues aside, for only seeing 1 act of the game, it had quite a bit of diversity as far as i could tell.
