Everyone should have the opportunity to battle monsters alongside Neyrelle in the Vessel of Hatred expansion. See how our latest accessibility features make this possible.
“Accessibility is one of our top priorities in creating Diablo IV.”
Now make the Dark Citadel accessible to solo players so they do not need to team up with people they do not know.
Accessibility for people with social anxiety would be nice.
great to see how much thought/effort you put into accessibility features. Doesnt get honored often because not everyone relies on them, but the people who do are for sure happy that they are there. god knows not every game offers them.
I’m usually with you but don’t mix real problems with first world ones, accessibility options are actually helping ppl who actually need them. I agree with the solo part but that is a 100% another topic.
This is nice. Good features to have.
Was really hoping we’d hear about upcoming game changes and bug fixes. Maybe another day.
“As developers, we want as many players as possible coming into the game,” says Drew McCrory “But only if they’re going to play Spiritborn”
“Also, we’ve locked away key features because we can’t figure out how to implement them properly, like devs from every and any other gaming company have been able to do with ease, like Frame Generation.”
Not gonna be rude here. But I was not blind enough to buy VOH with co-op only content, a class that I never wanted to play, and a story that didn’t even interest me in the original game. So I did with D4 what I did with WOW some 10 years ago. I stopped climbing paywalls that simply were not worth it.
And after the 90 dollar mount now in WOW… I almost feel as happy with quitting WOW 10 years ago - as with quitting smoking 20 years ago. And we all know P2W is coming in D4. So I’m very happy to be out of the Blizzard “insert coin here” for good.
• Audio Navigation Assistance: With this feature enabled, the player receives spatial audio pings that direct the player towards their placed pin on the overworld map. This feature, in conjunction with auto-pin navigation, allows players to navigate quest content while tracking their destination through audio navigation. We recommend using headphones for best results of the immersive sound. Players can adjust both the volume and the interval of the ping to find a level that meets their needs.
• Compass: The compass feature enables an on-screen HUD element that circles around the player and points towards their placed in-world pin. In combination with auto-pin, this provides even more guidance for the player. The color of the arrow can be changed to match their needs and ensure it is clearly visible while slaughtering the denizens of hell
I tried this in the PTR of season 4.
My eyes are still glued to the minimap (and I give a 10 to the developer who implemented the ship’s sound ).
Ediit:
I don’t use this system because even looking at the bubble the player always ends up bumping into something.
But vain developers are pioneers of innovation and see outdated an overlay map, because it is more attractive to enjoy the artistic section that is the minimap (for those who can not stop looking at the minimap will understand.)
I play diablo 4 since open beta and I’m sorry but they could implement that feature and who doesn’t want to use it don’t use it, the same way I don’t use Ship sonar.
Now the game has been rendered playable for the people who needed this.
Keep up the good work.
We need an emergency balance patch, sb clears 150 and other are struggling on t4…
Give the other 5 classes accessibility.
Accessibility is one of our top priorities in creating Diablo IV. (We need more people)
We’ve integrated it into our development process from the very beginning and have worked with the disability community to discuss, iterate, and test features. (They work with us!)
With a more supportive and customizable gaming experience, these considerations have helped our games reach a legion of new players. (I am pretty certain players have been bleeding from the community since release.)
Thank you for the work you do. Everyone should be able to play Diablo on some level.
How about developing a map overlay like everyone asked since Season 0, i literally died this season in hc while checking where the chests in helltides are, covering my whole screen opening the map while these little suicide mobs keeps spawning on top of us all the time, it is terrible.
When do we get access to the balance patch?
You don’t have to use it.
Also, did you found or did you played with players who do not own VoH? LOL …
I mean , I told you then and I will tell you now : You are useless. Learn to say “you are right” when you are wrong. Your arrogance its pathetic.
Why was this published three weeks after VoH already launched?
Guys i need a help is not impossible to make over 300 runs and dont take a one mithical or greater 3-4 * items somting is not right in Torment 2
Two thumbs up!
haha thats a good one!
Also this accessibility checks out because dupers have never had such accessibility to selling dupes as this season!
