Your bizarre fetishes aren’t a priority over class pick rates and general user entertainment REGARDLESS of how shallow or silly you think people are being.
The druid female especially is, if “muscular” a weird shape that is argueably grossly unsuitable for running around and killing demons.
I still wonder what the … most common reaction is going to be IF on release you can’t find any npcs looking like the druid(s), not even in the druid home town (or whatever they called that).
You should see what the fittest/best fighters in the world look like. The ones that actually have cardiovascular endurance. The strongest men in the world could not last in a fight whatsoever, nor could they spend their days running around the wilderness.
How about this trade blizz, let him stay fat as long as we can have a propper summon druid back… Bring back the Bear… let us have 8 wolves… show the ravens on the screen, even when not attacking
This is experience. That you even write something like that tells me you have probably tried neither running nor lifting.
Look at a random running competition. Do you see any “healthy at any size” people there? Do you see supposed strongman types? No, these are all lean people.
Strongmen build their body for bursts of strength. That is neither suitable for running nor for fighting. If you don’t believe me, google some interviews with Hafthor Júlíus Björnsson, a great strongman who played The Mountain in GoT. He said at length how and why he went on to lose 60 kg (132 lb) to try out boxing in 2020.
Boxers are people who need to have both cardiovascular endurance and strength. Look at some images of Mike Tyson. That’s a body both built for strength and suitable for fighting, as proven by his titles. See the difference? He is huge, but much much leaner than a strongman because he needs speed and agility.
For a body type actually optimized for combat, not fighting for sport, look at service members from any army around the world. Do any of them look like the druid? They don’t look like Tyson either.
Please don’t go “if he can do that one thing, he certainly can do another thing” that he is built completely wrong for. The whole Druid body shape is a total joke, and trying to sell that as a strongman body shape is just an insulte to strongmen, and trying to convince people that that barrel shaped something could run a mile is an insult to both common sense, biology and athletes everywhere.
First, no. They are more defined and generally have waists. They can#t afford all that extra weight.
Second, this is supposed to be a hero running around in the wilderness fighting. Strongman body shape, even if it was that, is entirely unsuitable for this. Comical even.
…Did you try reading the post you are answering to?
I specificially referred to him. You can find interviews with him talking about dropping weight to do anything but strongman competitions.
Here is he at his heaviest. Do you see that even here the man has a waist, a triangular shape to his upper body? His torso is not a cylinder of fat like our Druid.
And again, this is not the shape for running or fighting.
Like, do you honestly not see the immense difference between this and the Druid body shape? If not, then we really don’t have anything to discuss, because you cannot explain color to the blind.
What ever you say expert. Full disclosure though. I’m a 300lb man. I can dead lift at least 125% my body weight. On my running days I go for about 20-30 minutes of cardio. Two miles ish. I have a druid/strongman body type. So you are wrong.
