Notice, that they can tweak some stuff, and cut the number of zeroes by half, without changing any mechanics. However, the idea is that idiots like BIG NUMBERS, which mean nothing, so in D4, everybody can be a billionaire. Another idea for idiots, is those huge damage values. Again, they think, that you “like big numbers which mean nothing”. It’s the same concept.

Yeah, they don’t feel powerful, with 5k damage. So, lets give them 100 trillion damage per second, and then on Torment 666, you will whack a RAT only 100 times. -_-

Yeah, I’ve been complaining about this for a while now heh heh. Gold is heavy! I can’t see how a spider that drops 20k gold has any use of it nor does it have anywhere to hold it or be able to carry all that weight and still function properly as a Spider (hunting prey).
It’s stupid. They need to reduce gold drops and cost by 98% and only critters/mobs that would find gold useful to drop them, such as bandits, goat men, humanoids, etc. Ghosts and spiders, flies, whatever else should never drop gold (they can drop other things).

We all know only sorc and necro can handle it.
Sorc will just open a portal for gold, and necros will enslave the minions to carry everything!
Maybe our gold pieces are more like gold dust. Teeny tiny little gold flake fragments…… nah, I can’t fix it. It’s just silly. 
Now if if we reduced the weight to that of a US penny (.09 oz), that would be 810,000 oz for 9 million pieces of gold, so only 50625 lbs. Which would require far less treasure chests, but still.

despite ur observation, there’re still people complaining about certain aspects of the game being “immersion breaking” when in fact the game is hardly immersive. the majority of it is just numbers numbers and more numbers.

This game is probably designed mostly by some bean counters. So they see everything as a giant RNG machine, with various levers.
