7/13/23 still not fixed, amazing!

Ok if the abysmal rubber banding, fps spikes and memory leak crashes aren’t all completely fixed in season 1 I legit will not be playing anymore. I don’t care about any of you “oh I’ll see you in season” keep huffing that copium, if this shyte isn’t fixed by then (they’ve had over a month to fix this.)

The problem is on your end. 98 Rogue here and the fps never moves from 60(even during legion events). I also never rubberband unless entering new zones which is excusable because reasons. You may need to optimize the in-game settings.

If you are having issues then I would do some diagnostics tests.

The game also has not crashed for me in quite some time.

I usually only get very mild lag. I only get massive lag from serious internet problems.

Fix this.
Fix that.

Fix is coming on 18th. Research before crying. It should patch the memory leak.

They said memory leak will likely be fixed in the 18th patch. Hopefully they are true to their words.

60 FPS is Trash. you should at least run normal graphics settings if you are going to tell other people they aren’t optimized.

There is a massive known memory leak.

There is constant rubberbanding when changing servers/zones, and almost permanent lag latency and rubberbanding in the fields of hatred.

Not to mention the FPS drops in dungeons with any aoe type spell or monster effect going off, happening even with the top of the line graphics cards and PC builds.

So you are wrong.

they have a possible bandaid solution, not a fix.

If it stops the leak i dont care if its two cans on a string

bandaid is not a stop or fix. it might slightly improve it and cause other problems, is most likely what we should expect, if anything at all.

hmm weird I haven’t had any of these issues. sorry you are having them though. sounds terrible.

hey simp man, does all of your knowledge have to be given to people in such a arrogant way?

The its not the guys fault the devs dont have some easy to source to research diablo 4 questions.

Where did you even find the answer to this twitter? reddit?

I use the guy from open world games he scans through D4 threads and through devs twitter reddit ect. Gives 10 min updates and Tells all the changes coming. This is going to be a big patch but a first season so lotsa changes will be made.

  • 60 fps is trash?
are you the fps trash monitor patroller hall guy?

  • known memory leak
While yes the game does use quite a bit of memory…if you have other things open like browsers and discord streams, this will use VRAM and may cause you to cap out. My memory does not “leak”.

  • constant rubber banding when changing servers/zone
Yes, I already said this was acceptable for reasons. You are entering a new zone with stuff that needs to be loaded. Personally, I do not rubber band anywhere else.

  • Not to mention the FPS drops
Nope no fps drops here. 60 at ALL times. Legion Event 60, World Boss 60, 4 player dung 60 fps.

You can call me a liar all you want but what good will that get you.

Devs CONFIRMED there is a KNOWN memory leak that will be attempted to be fixed with July 18 patch.

a quick google search : The memory leak issue is basically an uncanny spike in the memory usage of a PC where the game takes up more than 90% of the entire available memory . This is why the title tends to freeze and crash frequently for many players

my game does not take up 90% VRAM. It uses 4.5 Gb out of 6GB at all times.

my game settings:
1080p
DLSS to Quality… everything set to low except shadows and textures on med

The fps drops just don’t “feel” like hardware issues. The inconsistencies make me think it’s a connection issue? When I start experiences stuttering and fps drops, I restart the game and it’s fixed for hours? minutes? Never know but restarting fixes something.

The rubber-banding usually happens slightly before the above issue starts to make the game almost unplayable. It’s strange to watch it progressively get worse.

I can only recall maybe one or two crashes since pre-release.
