This is what we get from Overwatch and WoW developers making an ARPG. 7 BILLION damage hits in preseason 1. How can the game develop from here, when the numbers are already so insanely high, they can’t even be shown on the screen. This feels like Diablo 3.5 rather than Diablo 4. The game balance be so out of whack that beta characters are already past the point of resonable progression.

Haha people are going to tell you to go back to diablo 2 or simply hide the numbers. Also, they will just say it was the shrine that he took that causes the numbers or that it’s cause he was killing groups of mobs that stacks the damage. It wouldn’t show high damage numbers when he solo’s a boss. But my argument is why are such numbers even in the game. How can there be so many multipliers that scaled a person’s damage to such high numbers. It’s like if you’re doing like 20-40k damage on your skills and crits for 6 digits. I think that is fine. Then with the shrine maybe close to a mil or a little over for that 10 seconds, I feel it’s fine.

I would not be surprised. Most of the resonable people left this forum or were banned. Majority of the participants are lizard shills and fanboys. They don’t think that the bonus XP from the Battle pass, which shouldn’t even be in a 70$ game to begin with, is P2W.

Yeah my lvl 25 sorc with 700 atack power with the lvl 25 weapon did 200 dmg hit per hydra but they had to nerf it. Meanwhile barbs whirwind was doing 5-10k per hit but they buffed it.
Too bad Hydra is gone as build.
Anyway the damage numbers are insane, I dont want another D3 fail.

They made balancing changes from the open beta to the server slam. Do people really think they won’t make balancing changes from launch to the start of season 1?

Disable it for now and enjoy the game. Balances and adjustments will come later.

My faith balance in Lizard is 0.00#believes. Also they backpeddled on the balance changes and said there are only going to be bug fixes.
…and you will soon won’t. Can’t wait to not see qq-ers, trolls and little kids crying that they don’t have $70 to buy the game or that their build got nerfed…in a beta.

First of all great poisoning of the well there, that way if anyone disagrees with you, you can just go ‘see’. Bases covered
Second, every single player gets the exp bonus, without paying. Pretty hard for pay to win to exist if paying isn’t part of the equation.
The games not even out yet. If there’s any issues adjustments can be made.
