69% of players have QUIT ⏰ w/ live updates

I know you are but what am I?

So this thread is trying to tell me that people are quitting a game around a month after its release to play other games?

Wow that’s really incredible news, I’ve never seen that happen on any other game before, ever.

You should definitely keep updating the thread statistics. That’s totally not a waste of anyone’s time, especially not the OP.

Such useful and amazing information.

You think you can read a book and hold a conversation with equal attention simultaneously?

I think posting on the forum at all is an indication that there is not something I’d rather be doing (playing the game)

I’m dead over this thread.

Super amused and entertained by it actually.

Had you been able to read between the lines, the OP has raised legitimate concerns and when asking for insight on how to improve the game or retain players…

I would have completely done away with the fields of hatred, it was a bad decision to mix any PvE and PvP content because that was 100% gaureenteed to cause trolling, griefing and everything bad with PvP.

What they should have done is separate it entirely, like make a small island that has no significant PvE content such as shrines, but the area is entirely open PvP with an arena event that appears semi often with various events such as last man standing, capture the flag with various places on the island having various points, king of the hill etc etc, you have alot of scope here which would work better with less complaints overall.

The current PvP content is entirely based on the Divisions dark zones, and it didn’t work so well in those games, what did you expect was going to happen in D4?

I’ll be honest with you, I didn’t bother. It’s far too baity to have any real benefit.

Therein lies the problem Sir Widgit.

If you have nothing constructive to say…

ya know the rest

Petition to change ops name to ‘Trust me bro’.

I’ll take any PVP bone they throw me at this campfire session in two days.

That is what it is going to take to retain MY interest in the game.

I’ve been online gaming for awhile. Our roster is pretty thick. The grapevine even thicker.

There are a lot of us

I would rather die than read a book.

You are incredibly incorrect. Waiting for people to port into dungeons gives me plenty of time to respond to idiots who make up fake statistics.

I also quite enjoy the forums, only makes the game more fun to be part of the community.

Please, say no more!!

There isn’t really anything wrong with PvP if done right, far too many people think a good PvP experience is ganking someone far lower level, its not - its weak and pathetic. If PvP had its separate area, then possibly skill changes could safely be done without affecting the PvE players so right now, you have to put up with skillhammer 2.0 barbs.

And if no one knows what the term skillhammer means, you didn’t play WoW during its best years, or worst years for PvP depending on your point of view.

Most think statistics can be manipulated but its an urban legend you can only manipulate the interpretation of the results but the data if it adheres to the principles of calculus (Continuity, Limits, Definite integrals, Derivatives) if it doesn’t then it falls under opinion, hyperbole, speculation like this thread.

Start with removing the level disparity discrepancy.

Most of the opinions, hyperbole and speculation is indeed an attempt to manipulate the interpretation of the data. Let’s use the data available, the community here on this forum and the similarly reoccurring threads on buyers remorse and how the game feels like it is incomplete and…

I understand that it is not a suitable sample size. Guess what, anyone who exclaims the % is incorrect is also incorrect because they themselves don’t have the actual %.

I cannot disagree with this

That’s not how it works.

You are making up numbers. Saying, “anyone who says I’m making up numbers is also wrong because they don’t know numbers” is absolutely correct. You are all literally making up numbers.

The good news is you aren’t obligated to!

Percentage aside why hasn’t anyone offered anything conducive that is on the ‘your numbers are wrong’ side of this debate?

I can only speak from personal experience if I don’t have the factual data in terms of numeric values.

From my personal experience, the game has lost its luster.

Personal experience means nothing except to you, the person who experienced it. It’s not evidence for anything.

…Until that experience is shared by many
