50 Boost Selection: Whirlwind

So I took your free boost on the only class that I couldn’t seem to make work, and was automatically kitted out in what you said works…

It doesn’t. 5 hits single target to kill basic minions in normal mode, and I need my ult to take elites.

So I came to the forums to see if I could learn anything, and I found people complaining about the same thing, and then people saying “skill issue” and citing a bunch of endgame synergies I don’t have access to-- well that doesn’t really help me enjoy the campaign, does it?

If you’re bleeding players enough to need a welcome back package, I think you should address the balancing of pre-endgame and then work up from there, instead of the other way round.

I’m so glad that I didn’t take their free gift because it would’ve messed my barbarian up. When I first saw the 3 selections, I didn’t undertand what the heck Blizzard was trying to do so I passed on it. I think it messed my friend’s rogue up because he said that his gear got replaced with some inferior ones.

It’s meant to be a boost from level 1 to 50 and gives you some basic generic starter stuff.

If you click it on a char that’s already geared, it replaces your entire setup and skill tree. The gear you were wearing will go in your inventory and they give you a scroll to reset your skills again.

It’s very lame and only useful if you’re starting a brand new character and/or class.
