2x glyph 90% fails in a row…so I ran another pit. The next 2 90% failed as well. 4 x 90% in a row. F this game. Game is good if you are playing a spiritborn. After 200+ hours of spiritborn hardcore gameplay, I made an hardcore necro, sorc, barb, and rogue. Their ability to clear endgame content is a joke. They dropped the ball on how long it took them to boost the other classes. Not trying to get super sweaty doing a pit 90 on other classes. I guess I will go spend time with my family. Gonna suck to tell my wife’s boyfriend to leave until season 7 comes out.
It’s the holidays. You, your family and wife’s boyfriend should all celebrate it together!
That last part of your post made me lololol.
I had 16 fails in a row at 70%. RNG is RNG but sometimes it likes to stick the knife in and twist it.
The universe is telling you to get carried those extra pit levels for that 100% my guy.
Blizzard’s RNG is fake. Although when I had some 25% chances it would fail 3 times and succeed once. So it’s like Blizzard devs keep seeing me say their RNG is fake and have started trolling me.
Anyone who thinks rng is legit in D4 is peak clown
ur not telling us which pit level ur running, must 10-20 levels higher then the glyph in order to upgrade it.
90%or100%means noting if u not enjoy farming levels it
Like sorc try so hard so hard to level up glyph to 46 but sb i can close my eye level up my glyph to 46
Sounds like he’s running 9 levels above his glyphs. in HC this happens fairly often. You don’t want to push into the next Torment level because you’re not yet geared for it. That 25% drop in resistances and loss of 250 armor can kill you. So if your glyphs are level 25 and you don’t want to push Torment II you’re maxed at Pit 34 and that “only” gives you a 90% chance to upgrade. Which 1 time in 10,000 could fail 4 times in a row. Or with Blizzard random about every 3rd time you try.
Which is stupid. It was stupid in D3 with the legendary gems and it is stupid here. If you have hit your ceiling and need the upgrade to do harder pits your screwed. It should have been if you do a pit you get at minimum 4 levels, every 10 levels of pit should add 1 more levels. So a level 100 pit would give you 14 level up for glyphs. Level 80 would give you 12. It would be deciding what your comfortable running and not having to push. Pushing should just give more gear and obols.
The Copium is strong with this one.
tomorrow they are fixing the glyph lvl 91-100 failure rate. so if you do a pit 10 lvls over those glyph levels will be 100% success
Monte Carlo event. read about it.
The pit is like 3 minutes.
Don’t sweat it
“RNG”. Yep. Situations like that happen and could be a probability. It’s funny though when you miss a 90% roll 6 times in a row as the probability of this happening is really low (0.0001% ?), but so is missing 4 times a 90% roll in a row (0.01%)
There’s a few things at play though : You generally remember the unfavorable encounters more than the expected ones, and there’s the possibility that as long as it’s not 100%, the probability is much lower than what is shown on the screen, which would mean that the game is lying to us (this wouldn’t be a first in a “gambling” based scenario).
This is the same thing that happens with bricking a 3 GA item on a single 3 choices temper (i.e. failing every attempt on the first temper slot). Not getting said temper one on any of the 16 (?) tries is a 0.2% occurence, yet it happens often enough even if you don’t care too much about the second temper slot. On a 4 choices temper group, there’s a 1% chance that bricking an item will happen on that slot alone, yet it happened a few times already. I often see myself bricking 2 GA affixes items after not getting a “mandatory” temper even before I even try to get the other temper done, and there’s less than 2% chance of this happening.
With temper, it’s really odd though as one temper could still be useful for another build, so it’s not like it’s a “failure” on every end. It’s almost as if the game “knew” what affix you’re trying to get by analyzing what you currently have on your character and makes it less likely for you to get it.
Here again, I often get both affixes on the first try, but I don’t talk too much about those.
If you ask a gambler this, he will tell you the system is rigged. That is exactly what that is. You get 1 in 1 billions of a chance of getting this.
The social anxiety is going hard in this thread.
Just sit in the pack while papa SB carries you through pit 110 in group finder. Problem solved. No need to talk in party chat. And hey, if they kick you for being a carry well then F ‘EM! You can Queue up again in the party finder.
Yea but I also got 3 10% and a 25% to hit in one run and wasn’t complaining that it was rigged in my favor. What bad luck happens people attribute it to malice and ignore all the good luck.
welcome back to Diablo 3, where 60% fails 90% of the time, lol
Say what?
