GJ Blizzard getting scammed on your official sponsored Discord by freeloaders leaving on their turn on Uber Duriel rotation is exactly the kind of engaging gameplay I expected from S2. No way to even report those people because the mods instantly mute you.
Stop trusting random people, OR make them go first then show them that there are still people with integrity left in this world.
But the fact that people are garbage is not the game’s or blizzard’s fault.
Just use the ingame features for multiplayer instead of third party sites… oh wait.
The anti-scam insurance was trading all the mats to a trusted group leader. Since trading is disabled, you have to trust the people in your group that they won’t just ditch you when it’s their turn. Guess how that’s working out.
So…you’ll trust one person to hold your mats, but are complaining that they leave the group without fulfilling their turn in the summon rotation?
Trading has nothing to do with it. People are garbage….and that is still not blizzards fault.
Stop trusting random people
This calls for an uber like rating system lol.
Holding one person accountable is way easier than trusting 3 people to hold up their end of the deal. Before trading was disabled I got scammed in Uber Duriel groups a grand total of ZERO times. Since trading was disabled, every group has a scammer in it.
Yes. I agree with that, but there is still no guarantee that said person will not just port and log with everyone’s mats.
Easier for the group i agree, but you’re taking chances still.
Again, the integrity of players is not blizzard’s fault
It’s Blizzard’s fault for screwing over SSF players by making it so that grouping is practically required to farm Uber Duriel efficiently if you want to get Shako sometime this season, and then not implementing in-game grouping and accountability features. Making it so that everyone has to use a portion of their mats for one summon of Uber Duriel would’ve been so easy but no, Blizzard would rather people got scammed all day long.
Hey, I’ll gladly team up with you, i’ll put my mats first ![]()
i just dont understand 4 mats 4 players why not have them turn in one mat if tthey dont they dont get loot simple!!
blizzard just a fail company
summons should only be 1 mat so if you single player or co-op everyone is still using the same number of mats!!
Who said that an Uber boss is supposed to be “farmed”? I would imagine it is supposed to be a “once in a while” kind of a boss. Thats why the materials to summon aren’t the easiest to get.
Sounds to me your expectations are a bit high for what is actually probably supposed to happen.
Blizzard did.

At 2 hours of required farming to summon one Uber Duriel and a 1% drop chance for an uber unique, no one is getting one this season, let alone a Shako, if they do it solo. Which is the opposite of what Blizzard stated when they said that they expect everyone farming Uber Duriel to get at least one uber unique this season.
Yup and when leaderboards come out…
I need to open up a salt mine.
The way Blizzard is handling this season, the leaderboards will be dominated by:
- bots
- cheaters
- scammers
in the order indicated
Yup, just look at D3.
100% agree.
In d2 we used to name and shame in global chat when someone scammed a grush and grabbed their rune and bailed. I used to do those like 10x a day and it only ever happened to me a handful of times. The community would hold itself accountable for the most part. Wish there was a system where you could blacklist that wasn’t exploitable but it is what it is. It’s why I don’t group up.
D3 has communities that could police actions like that, does d4 even have that feature?
Yeah, but D3 end game clans were full of cheaters, protected by cheaters, if you weren’t cheating, you couldn’t really play with them. There were very few safe havens for non-cheaters and of course, while still possible to get onto the first page, it was always the exception rather than the rule. Most of the front pagers were bots / thudders.
Over time it was just normal man. If you didn’t run thud, you had to lie that you were and pick a class that didn’t use or need it. Problem being that if you were dps (RG killer/trash clearer)- you were probably running a bot. If you were zds (zero dps support), then you were running thud to group mobs in appropriate values.
It was pretty bad.
Ban waves…maybe once a year? if you were lucky? One anti-cheat team rotating through the different games - concentrating on the ROI products - namely overwatch, hearthstone. HOTS - ignored for the most part. SC2 - also reduced support…
I think season 2 in D3…it was over man…people were botting and thudding - was the beginning of the end.
how do you find groups?
