what yall done now game was fine before the ptr and small patch. now log on takes like 4 minutes from char screen then freezes constant rubber banding. I taught it was my game files so i reinstalled all of bnet and all my games still the same issues didnt have any issues prior to this ptr and small patch yall done
Same, way longer loads, horrible graphics and uncommon settings now causing screen to fill up with light blue and canāt even see character on screen, reset to defaults and it gets worse. Not sure improvements is the word I would have used for recent āchangesāā¦
I went in and tested this while recording the game:

Keep in mind, I havenāt spent a lot of time in the PTR, I have a lot of life things to deal with the last couple weeks, but still. Popped right in, battled the world boss, then put up the settings and exited.
Short but quick. No issues getting in. Its a bit jumpier than live, but that may be the game vs the driver, since its showing as out of date in the settings as shown.
*shrug
Mine is rubber banding too and its getting super annoying. I have 2 copies one disk and one i downloaded. It worked fine for me yesterday when is updated, but now its back to rubber banding and its so aggravating.
Those of you that experience the rubberbanding/lag, have any of you ran any connection tests located here:
-For everyone having connection issues of various types: UPDATE 6-9-24
I had one yesterday that showed a large issue at the first hop (modem/router potentially) when they ran a test.
You can post your results below.
game wont even log me on now it gets stuck at char login and just stall s when i try to log in. them test yall want me to try and do wont even register any event . i rolled back my driver s to see if it that was the case but still same problem
Let me ask you this - whatās the point of running any test if, of all the games I play online, including other ARPGs, Diablo 4 is the only one in which I have freezes, rubberbanding and get the ānot respondingā message.
Doesnāt it make more sense that the problem is with Blizzard and not the other games that run perfectly fine?
Because believe it or not, the game is overly sensitive to bad connections. More so than a lot of other games. So why not run the tests? If nothing else it would prove you right and me wrong.
There have been a few others that ran test and found out their internet was an issue. So it is entirely possible but whatever.
Iām not excusing the game. It is overly sensitive and dramatically so in some cases. So there are issues but they can be mitigated with a little bit of effort at least for now.
I hate that so many of you have issues. But I canāt visit your home and fix each one of you one by one. And Iām saying I probably could but I canāt.
As far as I am concerned, if all the other games I play run just fine on my current ISP, the problem is with Blizzard and its game optimization not with my ISP.
Iāve uninstalled the game anyway. Wanted to give it another try this season, but I couldnāt really play much due to the rubberbanding, freezes etc.
Not worth the hassle. Lost some money on the game but I learned by lesson with Blizzard.
