At all the guys whinning about barb being underpowerd , we are the only classes right now who have multiple builds capable of clearing tier 100 , and we have a very respectable kill time on uber lilith with 2min.
So we are fine. Stop whinning , and learn how to build your characters correctly.
here it is :

Congratulations to him. What a fun gameplay, hitting at the opposite side of boss to make the bugged quake wave to hit her. The only end game build is based on a broken aspect. Nothing to cheer here. Barb need to be looked at.

you know these builds are exploiting mechanics or bug right ?
you seems to ignore all the t100 clear by 4 different builds , when all others classes except druids are much much worse , in terms of clear speed and in terms of build variety .
1st thats not thats done with the quake BUG and 2nd hes on pc and everytime he slams he truns around to slam the ground to take Advantage of the quake bug. 3rd that is 100% Not possible on Playstation or xbox

I love how the videos posted are A) using a bug to kill lillith or B) having to use all 3 shouts.
Great class design and build diversity we have here.

I like the fact that Core skills makes a difference in how those video play. Even though one can just stand there and press the same exact buttons.
That 2min Uber Lil kill is interesting. He’s specced for full DPS (doesn’t even take challenging shout) and manages to mitigate by just pumping max life + DR while injured. I don’t think it would work for NMD100 (most of the Uber Lil builds so far have been derivations of NMD100 builds) but he’s showing that Uber Lil doesn’t do enough damage that you need to go defensive heavy - max life plus DR while injured is enough. The thorns NMD100 used that principle along with all of the regular DR mitigation.
DR while injured is particularly valuable in high max life specs because there’s still so much HP left when it kicks in. It rolls much much higher than the other DR affixes.

I get the OPs point, we have options. We can spam a generator for a fun gameplay experience all the way to NMD100! Or if that isn’t what we’re into we can take advantage of the HOTA bug (but only if we’re on PC)
OP is missing the point of all the barb feedback. Running triple shouts is not good design. The hota bug is not good design. WW was nerfed into uselessness because reasons. Bleeds got the first aid kit from blizzard and were made useless…And our class uniques still don’t interact with our class in the way they should (ROH + technique/expertise as one example)

This is more indicative of Barb guys typically being better players. It doesn’t mean we have better or equal class power.
There are clear and undeniable discrepancies. Multitudes of broken mechanics, aspects, items, and interactions. Skill damage is abysmal in comparison to other classes unless you’re using a bugged out aspect on PC.

HotA cannot be played on a controller ( it autoaims anything on melee range for direct hit, with no way to disable it and the damage comes from the quake instead of the direct hit cuz peak melee fantasy amirite? )
Barb is awful.Dont play it.

Regardless what the barb is atm, I’m still thinking of running it for season 1. Knowing what works and what doesn’t for the class is good.
I don’t think I’ll do seasons. I’m 3/4 of a level from 100 on my barb now. Need shrines and some glyph levels. I hope they give us loadouts so I can have a few different builds to mess with, without taking forever to switch everything around or having to level another char. Season doesn’t really appeal to me unless there’s new things that I can’t get on Eternal. If so, I’ll likely wait a few weeks, get power leveled, get the new stuff, and go back.
Does sound like a plan. Though I only wanna do the seasons for the battlepass and once I’m done I can finally chill from the game. Just too disappointed at the lack of QoL’s and how the dev’s didn’t learn from past diablo games.
