Please if you would be so kind and if you would have rime to answer me 3 questions:
I just found a 3 GA sword with str, life and vuln damage. I know last one should be crit dam, but is vuln any good or would i need to reroll it to crit? Furthermore i instantly tampered it to see if it would get bricked and i could stop my excitement. First temper got perfect bash cleave but then ended on second temper with wrath of the berserker instead of dam while berseeking can i salvage it now or is there any chance ro make good use of it?
Is bash only working with bludgeoning weapon? I read and watched a lot but unfortunately cannot find precise answers on this? My build seems to suggest dual whield, can this be possible? I tried to alter rhe weapon for this skill but either i just cannot or my mousewheel is not working ingame, but also did not find a possibility to change the key to something else. Tried with different skills but i am just unable to change the weapon on any skill…
My build suggests 2h axe for technique slot, but is only lvl 5 and as with my problem above i would need to equipp a two hand axe to bash skill first to lvl it? I should then use swords but cannot find bludgeoning swords, only for slashing or bludgeoning maces or axes… please tell me i am just stupid and there is a way to solve my dilemma

It kind of depends with RNG. For example, let’s say you got great rogue temper on crit strike and you got masterwork to land on the temper. If this is how the dice fell, then vulnerable on sword with greater affix actually will yield more damage than another crit strike roll on the GA.
Bash as a skill only works with blugeoning.
On technique slot, go to training dummy room, set to multiple dummies, then equip 2H axe to WW and just spin around for 1-2 minutes and your technique will be at level 10.
Vulnerable damage is fine.
You want 300 damage with berserking for the Blood Rage legendary but it doesn’t have to be on your weapons. After 300 any damage you can apply works.
I run Wrath of the Berserker instead of puncture or hota it works fine.
I personally go with natural finesse temper after I got the 300 berserking since there are more valid options to hit.
Bash can be used with dual wield if you are using at least 1 mace between the 2 1 handers.
I unfortunately have the same problem as you with switching.
Puncture works well for training techniques too. You get experience every bleed tick.

Did the dummy trick, took 1 minute, but had to select rend(?) As i just cannot find any 2haxe for bludgeoning. But worked, very happy.
Problem is, i cannot change the wotb temper on my triple ga sword anymore. Atm i am runninh with iron skin, i could change to wotb to make use of this temper. But then i need to temper dam while berserking on my amu and cannot get dam to close anymore, but i have 600 dam to close which sounds pretty good? Crit damage would be 540 when i use the vlnarable stat on the sword, but if crit damage would be way better i would get rid of one of tje greater affixes to change vuln to crit dam
Don’t be afraid to experiment.
Before rolling the GA vulnerable off you should try fitting Accursed Touch aspect into your build. It won’t change much running the pit itself assuming your running exploit but gives you permanent vulnerability against the boss where you have a harder time maintaining it.
I tried Azurewrath when one dropped for me with max cold damage proc roll because I was desperate for more attack speed. Despite losing out on the bash multiplier and a lot of damage it felt about the same running while the pit.
Against the boss it was such a changed fight that after testing on the dummies I switched my build.
Smiting for the crowd control boost and the extra crits to finish the boss off.
Concussion temper for the stuns with bash.
Slow temper for more crowd control.
Azurewrath for freeze.
Accursed touch for vulnerable and the 10 spirits to help apply more crowd control.
I can usually stagger the pit boss the first time around in under 5 seconds.
The boss usually only gets to summon in 3-4 shadow bosses in the entire fight and most of those I can just ignore anyway.
Thank you but unfortunately not as - as i said before - my mousewheel is not properly working ingame. Or at least on this, as it is working to zoom out or scroll down textes but not for changing the godamn weapon
I checked my mouse settings in my system controls (sorry i am native austrian, no idea if thats the correct word in english) and should work properly. Furthermore the wheel itself works as well ingame, just not for this task.
Makes me mad a little bit.
Normally should work like this? Press ‘s’ for skills, hover over the skill, scroll down if necessary and then click/scroll mousewheel to assign different weapon? Can anyone confirm on this?

I will change iron skin to wotb, as i am rarely using it, therefore i rolled on my amulet the dam while berserking and just life as a defensive stat and got rid of iron skin cd.
As far as i remember there is a build for bash/wotb as well, will find it and check it out.
Unfortunstely i am not a big fan of trying on my own as most of my fun results from blasting some content after work for 1-2 hours and i am just too lazy to make my own thoughts. I know this may sound bad but i dont want to newly invent the wheel, just take what works for others and try to get as far as possible. As its my first barb as well, i am not that far into the matter to not just screw everything lol
I was bored in work today and researched a little more and it seems that this mousewheel issue is unique to logitech mice. Someone suggested to use a different mouse for this task only or use the controller (i need to search for my old controller i used for fifa back then, as i just like keyboard more). Otherwise there should be something like GHub where you can set ‘none’ to MMB (assume this means something like mousewheel) bindings.
i was actually thinking of dropping elements for accursed touch to try that. i have really good rings but i dont have lucky hit vuln affix. been spamming steel grasp on boss to keep up vuln which is annoying.
can i salvage it now or is there any chance ro make good use of it?
