250 cinders for a helltide chest? Is this a joke?

We went from being able to farm 3-4 chests an hour to maybe one.

Damage is now increased as well as aspects nerfed, so meteors are back to almost one shotting us to lose half of our cinders.

Patch notes says all interactable can drop a cinder, out of 25 non-red interactables I got one cinder.

Cinder drop rates nerfed as well.

On a level 91 rogue with very good gear it took me 35 minutes of GRINDING (no deaths, but about 5 close calls) to achieve 250 cinders.

The drops I got? Worthless.

I want my $90 back

250 is still nothing for a mystery chest… You can also get cinders from anything interactive on the map now. This is a silly complaint for a refund.

Cinder droprates has been nerfed drastically. Make the content harder and less rewarding, good Job Blizzard! This is how they want the people playing their wasted sh*t game longer than they actually do, to make more profit in the ingame shop.

Math is hard. if you were getting 4 before you will be getting 2-3

Their goal is to keep the hardcare fanboys happy. They spend the most and having others quit will reduce the server load!

I’m pretty glad. Legendaries were so easy to obtain, they needed a nerf.

I don’t know what you’re complaining about. You’re saying that grinding more for a reward that doesn’t give you anything useful 99% of the time is a bad thing? The audacity!

Yes it is hard, because it is not a math problem. They have also increased the difficulty of the mobs, and other factors that will slow you down…,so yeah…we will see how it pans out!

A legendary is nothing more than a rare with an aspect on it. Stop acting like they are the same as legendaries in D3 or uniques in D2.

literally no where does it say cinder drop rate decreased.

all objects have a chance to drop cinders now, which is an increase though. :clown_face:

I never said they weren’t. They’re still too easy to come by, and they were too easy to get in D3.

My point stands.

My best drops came from resplendent chests in NM50+

Helltides dropped a bunch of legendaries, never got a unique from them. Now they’re 250, it’s probably more effort than it’s worth if they didn’t change the drop tables on them.

Weird move, never considered getting (if lucky) 4 mystery chests in an hour to be any kind of problem.
