25% Extra damage while u have barrier up aspect doesnt work! tested it fully

So i was playing with temerity and the aspect that gives u 25% extra damage with barrier up and can confirm it, the aspect doesnt work, i hate this in games u have stats game and the fn stats dont work imagine how many people are playing with this thinking it works, so bad, like please get some good testers or give us dummy so we spot these bugs

You can’t find a Sorc build that doesn’t use this aspect. I wonder if its working for them or not.

tested it with basic attacks stripped of items so i can see easy and in both cases with barrier up and that aspect was doing same dmg

Have you tested with abilities that give barrier and not temerity itself? I ask because on druid some poisons “count” as poison while others are ignored for certain effects. Maybe the temerity pants barrier isn’t a “real” barrier. I would imagine both are bugs, but worth asking.

i only play rogue so i dont have other barrier to try with i mean i kinda have but not gonna botter this was the only way to take advantage of it with temerity but since doesnt work meh

I think this is it right here. I don’t know the name of the aspect off the top of my head, but the “dash through frozen enemies to gain a barrier” aspect probably creates real barriers.

you should try it with thorns damage. Basic skill / attacks will have damage range ~30%, which is comparable to the bonus you are getting from barrier.

dropped temerity long ago. Its good for leveling because you dont run into scaling issues, but it only gives you a barrier from your base life pool, all the +% life doesnt work with it either.

So at lvl 100 with full paragon having real defensive stats on that slot is stronger.

Btw, has anyone found the aspect of uncanny resilience? is it in the game?

I can’t speak on temerity, but I have tested the dmg boost using the aspect barrier and it does indeed work.

Ye it’s because of temerity. If you use an other source of barrier it works. There’s a similar problem for barb with the item Rage of Harrogath. Where it doesn’t work on bleeds applied with 2h sword technique or the berserk ripping aspect. There seems to be a problem with uniques interaction with stuff that isn’t applied directly with skills but from other sources like aspects, glyphs and stuff like that.
