More than that:
“Fixed an issue where consuming a Seething Opal would always guarantee a drop from the first monster killed, instead of only guaranteeing a drop the first time a Seething Opal was consumed”.
So instead of one time working, it would never work. Great job, Blizz.
Aside from being removed prematurely opals are working as intended, they have a fix for that bug though
I think there was a dev response in X that if it’s used in areas where mobs don’t drop loot, it buffs up the end boss instead? If that’s the broken part you mean?
I mean that opals now give nothing.
I used opal for boss mats and I received zero boss mats.
I get stuff, it’s not every kill
I also get stuff not every kill without opals.
You don’t get boss mats often from random mobs
Yup. With or without opals.
I have, a lot, it’s where I get most of my mats from
Look at the date of the patch. the 17th, it hasn’t been pushed out yet. So there has been no fixes doen yet.
-Fixed an issue where the Urivar’s Charred Sword cosmetic could not be unlocked as an appearance by a Spiritborn character.
This annoyed me a lot for no good reason.
I know
There are no fixes for opals in patch note.
I think the opals are only for xp boost and rep gains, the bonus only works once or twice for the 30 minutes its active. IMO they should just remove the loot bonus and make it a single opal. Just make the loot bonus in the realmwalker end chest. Just saves more space in bags and makes it less convoluted.
