I’m now at Paragon Lvl 190+ and I just got 2 grand jewels for now.
The fragments are obviously not enough for my proper usage.
So how can I spare at least 900K fragment and craft 6 useless ring and amulet caches to complete the Season Journey?
I know I can skip it, but did the game designers seriously paid attention to the game’s numerical balancing?

Whoever puts that objective there is completely clueless. Those caches are designed to be used as material dump.

I’m gunna play enough to get the bs xp needed to earn the premium pass crap I shouldn’t have paid into, then I’m out. They are so out of touch, same with last season on the gems, they have no clue… I don’t think they know where the forums are to read them to know what players want.
Haha Ye this one got me laughing. Absolute insanity, unless you’re duping gems and salvaging these caches are literally (Yes literally.) impossible to achieve.
I play a ton load, truly a lot and I struggle to even craft one haha. I’ll have my Perfect end-game char done before crafting one of these.

Yeah the cost seems way too high with current drop rates. Gathering 100k gem fragments takes forever.

Just unlocked my 4th Paragon board in HC. Around p140… still none of the hex gems only pentagons. And freaking herbs… I’m forced to farm weeds and flowers to get enough to craft elixirs. I can take down Torment II apparitions in a couple of seconds but I’m struggling to get basic mats. Yeah, that’s “fun”. End game shouldn’t be 90% farming for mats… it’s supposed be about the XP and gear hunt.
Maybe… hear me out… MAYBE they didn’t intend for you to complete that on day 5. If it seems too big, maybe you’re not the target audience for that objective… and therefore not the target for full season journey completion.
Don’t get your knickers in a twist. This isn’t about me agreeing or not agreeing… it’s just a rational observation of the situation.

It’s frustrating about gems, but I’m seeing people fully geared out, mythics too. The opinion that this season would slow everyone done was false regarding people who will zoom and get it done, no matter what it takes. I’m coasting along and finally hitting my stride, but if the devs thought they could slow folks down, they didn’t.
Whats even funnier is when you do open one of those caches, its a single item power 750 ring/amulet.
Its not scaled right, I complained to them about it last season because its entirely bait. That cost was for when people had so many gem fragments from hoardes that they literally couldn’t pick anymore up
Since then drop rates have been reduced massively and gem upgrade costs increased massively.
They simply can’t be bothered to update this cache and its really funny it was missed and was made into an objective that’s pretty much impossible. Hopefully this makes them fix it
Yep season journey objectives for the last tier are beyond ridiculous - the cynical attempt at increasing player engagement is in overdrive. They’ve said they want feedback on the season journey - well here is mine: make it attainable. I don’t want to have to equip every boss power to defeat every boss in season 4 - I don’t want to have to grind out endless mats just to tick a box. Stupid, stupid, stupid!!
Easy… The battle pass items are not meant to be done in one day. They are meant to be done later on AFTER you finish your character!

Between trying to lengthen play time (their words) and the battlepass changes, it makes one wonder if revenue isn’t going they way they want.
They’re mad it’s a “weekend game” (again their words), but this ain’t changing that. The grinders don’t see the point anymore with no new endgame systems and the casual to average players just hit a progression wall.
