I’m not sure if this was a mistake, but all pit material conversions are now 1:1 instead of 1:3 when transmuting higher mats into lower mats.
This is really bad, because it now encourages people to go back and run t30 and t60 pits to optimize efficiency every time they get a new piece of gear that needs to be masterworked (why run a t90 for ~50 Neathiron which is now worth 50 Obducite when I can sleep through a t30 in 2 mins to get ~50 Obducite)
Please bring back the old conversion rates. If you’re geared enough to be running t90+ pits, you should be able to push your gear to rank 8 quickly without having to run laughably easy content for Obducite/Ingolith

This is such bad design. Theyre just adding multiple layers of grind which are snooze fests.
It’s 1:3 it just looks bad when looking at it. When you go to craft them it will show 1:3

You’re right, the UI needs to be updated to show this. There is no indication that it’s not 1:1 and you’d never know unless you were paying attention to your currency tab

There is an indication, it’s just in the actual crafting dialog which says “Materials received: X”. So no need to pay attention to the currency tab to get the info. Would be nice if the list of transmute recipes also showed the ratio though.
Is it now impossible to turn higher value pit materials into lower value ie obducite?
ok, good that is a tip display bug only, I toight I need to go back farming 1-30 Pits
