Ok I can’t disagree there, I’ve worked fast food when I was young and I would never do it again for less than $50 an hour, one of the worst jobs I’ve ever had

FWIW, here in Oregon KFC is starting people at $16/hour. I’m a full-time live-in caregiver, but I could easily handle 20 hours at KFC for that.
OTOH I can think of a lot of people being paid a lot more than minimum wage who I’d say don’t have a “real job.”

Yea, minimum wage is different around the nation.
However, you clock in, do what you’re told for a few hours, produce a service for which customers are willing to pay, & clock back out. By any appreciable standard, that is a “real” job.
