Any viable builds for thorns for Cro?

make a build? its an ARPG after all. I really don’t get all this “following build” nonsense. yes learn about how mechanics work etc from the community, but the point of these games is to make builds.

Viable? Maybe. Good, no.

The problem with the razorplate is it kills your survivability.

And in exchange for making your character out of paper mache, you get ok damage

Pure built around thorns? - nah not really … Combo with Deathspeaker proxy blood surge … sure. But keep in mind with use of Razorplate you are loosing 1.2-1.5k HP

I’ve never been impressed with the thorns build either. Way too much is sacrificed with that chest piece.

I honestly think the best thorn build is to not use the razorplate at all

Thorns work great as supplementary damage to kill trash fast, you can get enough as a Barbarian from other sources + needleflare

But this plate kills surviability HARD, and yes you do a lot of damage, but it kinda makes you very squishy, so it’s only good for PVP and easy content like helltide

yeah, razorplate is lazy thornes. you can get it other ways, lol.

It works well for my Barbarian, I dunno about Necro.

I suppose if you have the minion passives and the new inherit thorns roll on as much gear as possible it could be good, because unlike with Barb you will have a bunch of sources of thorns.

The thing that still drives me nuts about Thorns Necro is Needleflare does not work on Minions
