11520x2160 resolution

Missed to test this during last beta, eager to know what resolution is best for triple 4K and for those who had tested, whats the best resolution to play on and how would it look like/ How much black bar would there be?

I don’t think the game supports multi-monitor, i’m not sure any ARPG does to be honest.
I know that D3 has some strict resolution settings, I can’t change the resolution of the game at all, I can run it windowed but it maintains aspect ratio.

I know people in D4 haven’t been as restricted, but unless you want to play it windowed (not full screen) and literally manually stretch it across the 3 screens i’m not sure that resolution will be supported.

Not even sure how that would make the game better either. I can see something like 8192x2160 working on a wide screen, but dual/triple screen seems overkill for Diablo.

The game is confined to restricted/maintained aspect ratio for the maximum resolution the game supports. It will not span across 3 monitors to the respective aspect ratio, it will instead stretch and look very ugly.

Devs already said 3:1 ratio was the max. 6,480 x 2,160 in your case.

Stretched like the druid?

No modern computing can stretch like the druid.

You two made me laugh : ) Thanks!

So…about 2/3 of the side screens will be black bars?

In about 2 weeks, you’ll be able to play again for a weekend & test all the resolutions by yourself (see Help Us Gear Up for Launch During the Diablo IV Server Slam — Diablo IV — Blizzard News for more information about the new test).

Right, I think I can wait. Hopefully my druid isn’t stretched.

That’s dual ultra wide or triple regular screens which is more than enough, but would hate to have the middle of the screen divided if using ultrawide.

The aspect ratio is confined to what the max Consoles can do. PCs are hamstrung a lot in this game because of consoles.

Seriously sucks I can’t play at this resolution. It was awesome in the beta.

Just give us the option to disable cross-play if we use this resolution if it is a big deal.

I play Diablo on a drive in theater screen. Get on my level son.

size of screen is not equal to screen ratio.

Nvidia surround / AMD Eyefinity is more like VR as you are completely immersed in the game. Its awesome.

What kind of a monster CPU & GPU combo would you even need to run a twitchy action game at that resolution with a decent frame rate? Sounds more like E-dick bragging than any kind of realistic question.
