1 Temper means that utility crafts are having a hard time competing
- Balance the affixes better, so they have less of a hard time competing. Ought to be number one solution always.
- Maybe not just yet, wait and see how things develop, but some of the tempering affixes should be added to the general affix pool
- Short term; what if one of the Sanctification outcomes was getting a temper affix. Maybe only from the non offensive pool.
The affix VALUES not being increased via masterworking is the issue, not so much the selection or appropriation. Its often the ONLY place to find AOE increases, Ult cooldown, Double dmg or cast twice chance.
Actually they increase quite a lot. But only for 1 temper or affix now.
I can guarantee you, that you can Masterwork and GA your ult cooldown on 2 rings and run Deathtrap Rogue just fine - it’s one of the hardest builds to put together. It works totally ok. (I admit it gets complicated if you want to run Heir instead of Shaco, but that’s another topic. Yes they took away some options and a lot powercreep. And we could argue if that’s good or not good for build diversity - there were other ways to adjust powercreep than this)
Besides that, the OP just stated a fact. Which has nothing to do with the Affix values, or balancing them.
And while adding some of them to the Affix pool is a typical Shadout idea - let me counter with - most are class specific - so no.
Diluting the Sanctification pool is such a stupid suggestion that i won’t even comment on that. ><
The simple statement of the OP was “they will be used less” - which is true and only required a “yes, maybe a 2nd temper had some use and reason to be there”

Every single affix in the game should be changed to be class-agnostic.
But adding them to the pool before doing so would not be different from how other affixes are today.
The statement clearly was that they would have a harder time competing. Which is a somewhat more loaded statement that that they will merely be used less.

- ”harder time competing” is literally the same as “used less”. one is the result of the other.

Main stat is not class specific though. It is however still a disgrace for an A-RPG to have a main stat per class. The 4 attribute stats should be redesigned.
What the heck. That is not a complicated word.
They need to bring back 2 tempers before going live - I don’t understand why, when the player base have given solutions they would like to see, the blizz devs always go in a different direction and make it worse - it’s either incompetence or arrogance (maybe both).
