1-Shotted Max Level Resistance and then some on T4

Devs, why am I getting one-shotted, with OVER max resistances on T4?
Seriously, there is a ‘reason’ for resistances, yes? Meaning we shouldn’t be getting one-shotted by boss mechanics. THAT is the whole ‘purpose’ of --resistance-- - to resist the damage and survive another hit or two or more - - - but you just --forgot about all that-- yea?

Resistance should not be a meaningless attribute when facing Bosses, or anything else.
I am over 1000 in armor, and with that I shouldn’t be getting one shotted by anything, ever. Current Resistance marker is 77% all around.

I have 208% Fire Resistance
I have 178.7% Lightning Resistance
I have 178.7% Cold Resistance
I have 178.7% Poison Resistance
I have 271.1% Shadow Resistance

Once again… dying from a one shot is ridiculous.
All my Resistance show at 77%.

Why is this happening?
Obviously either the resistance markers are not being applied properly or there is a problem with the code. Fix this please.

Died from a single hit from the fireballs in a HellTide on T4 with all my Resistances.
SERIOUSLY, DEVS. This is an issue your PTR did not find. Please fix this. We are less than a month into the 3 month ‘Season’. This needs to be fixed now, do it isn’t F’d away the entire season, considering how —INMORTANT— resistances are.\

The maximum resistance cap is 85% it can’t go any higher.

If you’re fighting a Tormented boss, some of their abilities can instantly kill you.
Example: Lord Zir’s Slam/Slap will instantly kill you if you’re in melee range and standing on the visual cue. You just need to reposition yourself to avoid the insta-kill mechanics.

Resistances alone aren’t enough in Torment 4. You’ll need also fortify, max health, and shields to survive.

If you check your resistance stats they show the total you have, which is before the torment reductions. That’s where he’s pulling the 178%+.

It’s important to look after resistances and armor but everyone Always frogets that they need also to look after the life pool!
Don’t forget that if you lose it all, you die

You have to have enought resist, armor but also life.
You have to avoid ennemies attacks too! When they draw a large area on the floor it generaly means “not a safe zone
