Im not a casual, but i don’t ever remember any ARPG having this steep of a leveling curve this early in the leveling process.
Maugans Work Dungeon:
Around 300k XP in 10min = 1h 40min for 1 level at character level 61
Champions Demise Dungeon:
Around 500k XP in 15min = 1h 30 min for 1 level at character level61
*(This was done without fighting the boss and going for the movement speed boost item you pick up and using it throughout the whole level.)
Are you trying to make casuals hate the game? I have to ask, because this just seem too much even for people that play the game a lot. At least let people reach the real endgame at level70 World Tier 4 before you make leveling this hard. I just don’t see casuals ever coming to grasp with this hard of a leveling experience.
I was doing this with a fully stacked Minion build and Bone Spear with a Item Power 697+15 on weapon with decent gear, very good offensive Aspects. I had no mobility Aspects and im sure there are Necros more powerful at my level, but fact is most Necros at this level is weaker than me and will be doing this even slower.
We all know grouping is 3-4 times faster than this, but that is not the argument here.

Leveling is way too slow after 50. Fix this mess Blizzard.
And game favors group play too much and nearly unplayable solo, this also needs to be fixed ASAP.

afaik they nerfed Maugans so it’s not worth anymore
best way to do it is just spam clear dungeons for tree of whispers, you still get a ton of exp and you get quest exp, not sure how much faster it would be tbh, but that seems like the “intended” route, and they’ll nerf any other methods of exp farming

Lol, what exploit was that?
There was a dungeon with bugged overspawns. There would be rooms packed with shoulder-to-shoulder elite packs, and a group with good AoE could plow through and get rich.
It was fixed a couple days ago.

Yes you are a casual player. if you are lvl 61 and still in T3 you are doing something wrong lol.

Im doing stuff solo, not getting carried by groups zerging level70 capstone boss. If you aren’t Necro, you have no say in this matter.
I actually had him 1 bracket of HP left at level56. I doubt there are many Necros even close to doing that. So no, not a casual. Were there casuals able to kill Butcher in Server Slam in 4 seconds? Or kill Ashava Tier 2 solo? No, that’s not casual territory sir.

If you got him to 1 bracket left as an 56 then you should be able to kill him easyly on 61.
The tiers are pretty much useless its a race to t4, your goal is to get there quickly as possible. I did it with 59 as an firewall mage solo and the boss oneshoted me with every ability.
And you are bragging about your “Beta” Achivments and yes its not an achivment in the beta where necro was overpowered as hell…
world tier 4 xp is good. you can do the capstone before lvl 60 solo

I absolutely agree with this. I’m decently casual and been having a lot of fun but now that I’m about to hit 60 it feels like such a massive uphill battle just to get levels. I’m all for making people work for it but in the amount of time I’ve put into my guy I would be able to level a character 1-80 in classic. I love the new legendary systems but it’s so lame getting aspect to imprint over and over again. Part of that I know is because I’m a druid main but still it takes the wind out of my sails every time, I got to hope the legendary to make my class work drops.

Lmao, you didn’t read the forums on server slam, did you??? EVERYONE was complaining about how weak Necro minions were, i told people they had the second best damage on server slam, but they didn’t believe me. There was even a Hotfix for Skeleton survival lol. If anything, everyone rated Necro the weakest class on server slam. Overpowered as hell? Yeah, Rogue was. But hey, its nice to see people with a completely different perspective than most people here.

The good thing is that we essentially level up 4 times per actual level. its basically like they disguised the level cap at 100 when it should really be 300

Someone hasnt read the guides or the tier lists put out. Necro builds are S tier but Necros late game are considered absolute trash.
