“Free Trial Max Level Reached” Error

I purchased D4 before game launch, played season 1, and am trying to play season 2. I used my free pass to purchase season 2 premium.
Just got booted from the game during a dungeon. Tried to log into character and get a window prompting me to buy the game??

It says “Free Trial Max Level Reached. Thank you for playing!” Then gives me a button to buy Diablo 4. :flushed:

Yup, same here… I don’t know what’s going on in the Blizzard HQ, but they better make my videogame an offline mode…

I’ve bought this game 3 times now for three different platforms and am getting this bug now for some reason.

happening in s4 too on pc with gamepass, this company has gone downhill massively, i basically play d4 for free and still feel robbed now xD

as of may 18th, 2024 xbox game pass cant connect and blizzard still haven’t fixed the issue

So just tried to hop on and I am getting you have reached the free trial level max buy the game I really hop they fix this.

Same here.
My game froze while opening a treasure chest. Afterwards, I noticed it had been downloading an update in the background. After the update installed, re-launched the game and I cannot get into the game with any of my characters - max level trial popup opens.

I am on a linux PC, btw, but I don’t think it really matters.

just happened to me after last update… game purchased but it says trial…

Same issue, Blizzard fix your update.

I can play with low lvl characters, and create a new character, but can’t play with any above lvl20
