Hello All,
Installed a fresh copy of D2LOD (from the installer) & patched it from the website, key used from the account. The game opens with no issues, singleplayer works, but when attempting to connect to any server: “You were disconnected from battle.net. Please reconnect” This has gone on for 3 days now…I have searched through threads and dont have the issues described in those threads. Looking to jump back in for some D2 action before resurected release. Please and Thank you

Nope, this issue seems to be all over the place over the years; with no help from support…10days later and still same issue…not even a response to a ticket…D2R is only reason im picking D2 again up…
Basicly same story here… wanted to play some D2 while waiting D2R…
i had same problem. its prolly a security issue. you need to give your computer permission to connect to battle.net, assuming thats the only problem your having.
(if playing in single player works fine)
So mine worked from my hotspot right up until i got new home internet. I suspect they classify my new internet as “business class” I get the same error now when i try to connect to the hotspot. If you have decent internet you might be able to give it the two weeks for the suspension to end and then try on your phone hotspot. Any tips on getting a refund on diablo 2? I can’t seem to find any info on how to do this. Thanks Guys!

Got my ticket answered…with the worst kind of answer…

- We do not know why

None of those reasons apply, I just installed the game and it auto banned. What terrible system they have set up and their customer service is just useless. They can go stick that crap somewhere it don’t shine, shameless, useless and just a waste. Not their first time doing it like that to players and I am sure its not their last.
