Yikes! China bans gaming?

I highly doubt that around 71% of China’s population is under 18 years of age. China has a median age of 38.42.

It has around 1.4 billion people so that means that there has to be less than 1 billion people that are under 18 years old.

yes but i think beyond the average person and i can see that children will have little to do in the form of entertainment and learning and if a parent is playing games then the child will try to watch and in turn the parent will have to turn off the game, therefor this law effect all parent and children so how about you recalculate those numbers and get back to me and tell me i was actually right and apologize.

Is there any reason why people, especially western care so much about China’s wellbeing here?

Why isn’t anyone care about those poor people that their new government banned music?

I like Chinese people. I care about them.

We are the world. -MJ

Yeah, they are involved in the software used for China’s “social score” system too. Part of why I won’t play any Riot and GGG games. Well that and because I don’t enjoy their games at all.

Oh, you really, really don’t want to do another “prove me wrong” thread.
You know how the last one went…

I always read that is China and so on.

But in truth, it is simply a system. A pyramid system of a minority that subjugates the rest and considers them as their scalps.
These are the at least Chinese in China who want that.
Therefore better get away from the allocation of a whole country. They are the few rulers in a misanthropic ruler system.

But who believes then please that it is big different with us?
The difference is, we have more outlet and one sets here on representative democracy, which represents however basically also only a power pyramid and by these foreign-determined media, the story runs that what we live, the normality would be.

I believe yes, no I know that the people would be capable of completely different systems, but for that the awakening must first begin and the upheaval from “below” come.

That there in China now quite openly once again, few people put themselves above the rest and control them their lives through and through strange, is repulsive and just highly criminal, organized crime, which one sells as a system.

But if I look around here, what is going on, that is basically not far away from it, at least in some countries of the Western community it looks dark and the whole lie constructs are iron further pulled through and 99.x percent suffer and die every day anew and completely unnecessarily…

another troll post, act like you so “well-known” about China.

You don’t even know how their children glue their faces direct to the phone for LoL.

You don’t even know how many parents found their children stole their cc info to top up in the game.

You don’t even know how mad the children can be after lose in a game by waving knife to their roommate for being noob partner.

You don’t know this restriction system can’t stop them from playing game with so many leaks, tricks and exploit.

Much more that you don’t know but you just sitting front of pc using the keyboard shout “Freedom”, as like you have some constructive action.

Wow what a thread. Let’s all chill out with some tea or coffee and blast some Metallica.

that’s completely absurd…

Don’t judge billions for the mistakes of a very very small percentage. Take a step away from news propaganda and step into the real world. China and it’s people are nothing like you say. I’ve literally lived there and have friends there.

I guess the problem with the OP is being chicken little about oh no China the big gaming market won’t have that may people playing games or heavily restricting their gaming time. So that means to that person it will hit the gaming industry big time with a lot of loss in revenue. At least that is what I got out of the OP.

The way that I feel about games is that do I like how they play. Am I even interested in what the game is about. Genre being last, there are only a few genre’s that I just won’t play because they don’t interest me.

I personally think Braavata’s troll game is getting pretty good and deserves credit.

I also think I like his real world politics and that goes a long way.

He has serious ego issue, stemmed from insecurity more likely. That might irritate some, but I find it hilarious at this point, especially when other people know how he would react, then he reacts just as other people predicted. He’s a bluffoon (in a good sense and bad). And it’s funny.

By the way people talk, what they say, I somewhat figured out where some players’ political leaning lie (this was before there were more serious political debate that went on btw). I don’t let it show though as this is a gaming forum (but I sure won’t back down if I engage in one). When it comes to Diablo discussion, some of them, I share opinions, view with while our political leaning differs. Same goes for opposite. Some I share political views with, but differ on Diablo stuff.

Little heard band here. I think the title applies to Diablo (sort of… not really, but still)

Watching has not been made illegal. You are trolling.

Because we are not completely self-centered? Of course I care.
Heck, even if I was completely self-centered, it is potentially bad for my well-being to have a big nuclear power that might end up in a messy situation at some point.

Let’s be real here, he does not have real world political views. He just goes for whatever he can troll with.

A small percentage? Everyday has news about the parents request refund from the game company because of the children action, top up without authorization of their own parents.

Ya, you are the one shall step into the real world, you asking other just sitting like that, do nothing and allow this happen, then what your solution? You going to protest at Tianmen? You sure you are not a keyboard warrior?

The President of Xi has once say, mind your own business, China’s issue is China’s issue.
