Yay d3 servers lagggg fest

cant push a Greater rift 132,within 5-10 seconds in lagggg everywhere, been like this for 4 days now ,any1 else having problems?

Like this?

bet, didnt even see that post =)

We the player base must follow code of conduct ! why cant we just get a very very very very simple server reset

What’s your idea of a “very very very very simple” server reset?

You do realize that there are probably 100 (more likely several hundred) or more servers per region (I have no idea of exact numbers, and they aren’t going to tell us) all synced with each other over a large network array of some sort.

I don’t think there is a simple, let alone veryx4 simple reset option here.

Not to mention, not everyone is affected the same, so it might not be server related as much as area related/region related, or how your path to the servers might affect your performance.

You might compare it to another game and claim that the other game works fine, and it just might. It also might be located in a different part of the country or world too.

Point is, without knowing what the actual problem is, (and blizzard isn’t likely to admit to anything on their end) there is no way to know what needs rebooted or given a swift kick to fix your problems at a specific GR level.

I suspect that the problem is more likely due to the number of GRs ran at a certain level vs lower level ones. In my opinion anyway, but that doesn’t mean anything either. Not sure why higher level GRs are always the ones that have the most trouble, but it might have something to do with the larger number math involved and servers being strained to keep up especially if a lot of players are running +GR100 more than -GR100. What would the solution be then? Rebooting them probably won’t do anything to be honest. They probably need better processing speed or something.

But then again, this is only an opinion. I have no facts to back it up, only what I read, what people have seen and basic theories.

Anyhoo.

Game on.

5-10 second freeze sounds like the fmodex64.dll problem. if you haven’t tried the trick of swapping in a different DLL try that. I haven’t had the 5-10 second freeze a single time since doing that. Downside is you lose sound, but that was no problem for me cuz I always had the sound off and music on instead anyway.

I’ve been having major lag issue also…
Blizzard really needs to fix their servers…
=.=:

I don’t believe the servers are actually the probelm, for every player that has issues, 10 don’t. This leads me to believe that the issues are ever your isp or some conflict issue with your system, (Unless your suffering the sound file issue). D3 is a a cpu dependent game, so you may be getting cpu issues, overheating, bottlenecking (you have to see the overall cpu usage not just the game), and other cpu related issues. And before you say I have the latest cpu 1000 core processor, D3 only uses 4 cores, so if you are having the game share a core with another process in windows it could the problem once your grinding heavy algorithms in the game.

This entire weekend have been a lag feast for my 4man group doing 144-149`s More then 50 monster we fight = lag and we fall behind. Something wrong this weekend with the servers.

yup… i get disconnected many times ever since the last maintenance… :unamused:

Same for Europe. Servers are worse than ever before.

Servers are still currently close to completely unenjoyable. Can we get a message forwarded to the d3 team so that they do a server restart or a checkup, please? Edit: talking about EU

the N.A. servers are very unstable lately…
got disconnected so many times and its getting ridiculous…

EU had a server restart today. Looks like they listened
