Is it possible to play this game on the PC with an Xbox controller?

Dont think so. Coming from an xbox player, I got very used to the PC controls. You have more control over where you aim. I never looked back.

possible maybe, but there isnt support in game and wont be. mybe you can use joy to key but dont expect to work like you do on the xbox

Controller sucks on D3 for PC, Using a gaming mouse is so much better
That’s the thing. Mouse movement sucks period. Click here to move here. Blah. Movement is so much better on console with a controller. Now if they had controller type movement with the wasd keys and mouse targeting on PC, i would be down for that.
Not you have to “click here to move here.” You can use a force movement button, and pressing it moves in the direction of the cursor.
Also, while movement might feel better on the console (debatable), targeting absolutely sucks.
Controllers will work on Diablo 4 though.

theyve talked about it before when they talked about the UI for d3 on the console, its basically a new system made specifically for the controller and that theres no way they could make it work on the pc since its “new game entirely”.
Ive heard theres mods where you can map your controller to emulate what youre doing via m+kb but i heard its wonky.
Controller support on PC for D3? no
Controller support on PC for D4? yes
Couch co-op for PC on D4? no info
I would like to see that possiblity.
