As I play and are over 1k paragon on my Monk I like to push the leaderboards. This season is broken as there are modded people scattered all over them. Never have we had a broken season like this people doing 150’s in 3min. It makes it hard to play as what’s the point. Psychmantis111 is the Monk leader atm has modded gear and leads the boards. This will never be broken by a standard player with 5k para and maxed gear and gems. Blizzard please remove modded gear players from season or this will bite you in the end as we will quit your greatest season now.
We need to keep this posting it. So we can make season 22 good. Try to tweeter at @PezRadar that is Adam Fletcher tweeter or post it on the office Diablo 3 redit. I really hate that the softcore monk leaderboard is messed up cause of cheaters.
They will not remove the cheaters now anyway, like botting on PC they do banwaves on PC and ban accounts but they can’t do that on consoles thus all we can hope for is clean the leaderboards after the season has ended otherwise the cheaters simply repeat their GR if Blizzard cleaned mid season.
Given that Switch has had modded gear since day one and the leaderboards have never been cleared of cheaters I’m very dubious Blizzard will cleanse the PS4 and XB1 ones even though the reason why modded gear is in Seasons and only for S22 is because of their mistake in starting, suspending then resuming S22.
Heh… Nothing will ever change with the console versions. They are all hacked and full of cheaters. Reporting people on that platform will do nothing. I’ve been there and i’m glad i left xbox for the PC version.
Whoa so they got modded gear on PS4 and XB1 Seasons now??? So perfect gear from duped mats wasn’t enough for some ehhh.
Too much PoE… Might have to make a zbarb or zmonk and play casual D3 again this Season
Just so everyone knows how this happened:
Blizzard activates s22 early. Players create characters thinking s22 started early. 2 hours later s22 is deactivated and all “season 22 characters” get converted into “non-seasonal” characters. Players equip “non-seasonal” characters with modded gear. On Friday s22 starts and all “early s22 characters get re-activated”. Not only all progress from an early start got saved, everything character had equipped at the time of re-activation was brought in with the character into s22.
So, if you played on Tuesday, made a s22 monk, then equipped it with modded gear on Wednesday, on Friday you had one heckuva monk.
This screw up is not on the modder, he just got lucky. I did report him for cheating and everyone should do the same of course. But no one planned this. This is Blizzard and their stupidity. They can’t even flip a switch right.
and just so ya’ll know, modder Mantis is trash. 150 in 4-5 minutes? With that gear? lol.
Lol true I see YouTube clears of 150’s in under a minute. So damn ridiculous but if your gunna cheat at least be efficient?
They certainly can do it. They just don’t want to. The LB servers are 100% controlled by Blizzard.
Very sad that mods are in season. I was looking forward to pushing the leader boards. With the fourth cube slot. Now I may only play through season journey. I wish console was not the unfavored child for Blizz. I really enjoy playing D3 seasonal on console with no mod gear.
@dpastern
Homer was simply stating that even if they removed the modders from the leaderboard, they cannot ban those players. Microsoft or sony would have to do that. If blizzard cannot ban the players, those players would just repost new leaderboard runs after being removed over and over… so it is likely blizzard wont start a never ending wipe battle.
Its cause he kept dying. Simple deduction.
Blizzard can’t ban them, but Sony can ban their PSN account for violating the terms of service. Of course, will Sony do so? nah, $$$$$$$$!
Same for me. Even if they ban or remove the players from LB, so many other players leeched XP until now. And still nearly all top teams also use Save Wizard. So i just ignore LB’s (since the 1st console season)
They cannot moderate console versions nor do they care. I gave up on the xbox version a year ago cause it’s so polluted with cheaters. Console versions have their save file saved on the console not on the Blizzard servers. That’s why it’s so easy to modify your gear with ridiculous stats. It doesn’t really matter anyways…
I knew this was going to happen when Reaper of Souls expansion went to Xbox One and PS4. Reporting peoples profiles will do absolutely nothing on those platforms. The only thing that can happen, is the account gets banned or closed for some severe violation but modded gear? no. That happens in games like Borderlands, Left 4 Dead, Call of Duty (older games that are no longer supported) and nothing happens.
The console versions were always the inferior ones. I’ve been there since Diablo 3 hit xbox 360 and the problem never went away. Nothing will ever change. Either deal with it and play with friends (but sometimes even they cannot be trust - he’s my friend, he won’t cheat… oh wait… 3 slots in rings…) or… move onto PC version.
BTW, you keep giving incorrect information and I wanted to provide you with the correct data. On Xbox, you can’t modify the saved files in Seasonal like you can on Playstation (altho looks like this may not be true - ty @Mamaluvsme) and Switch. The way modded gear makes its way onto Xbox (and only NON-Seasonal) is because MS allows people to port xbox360 savedfiles over to the Xbox One, and the 360 encryption was broken a couple years ago. So you can mod gear on the 360, edit the saved file and then convert it to an Xbox One/S/X file. The Xbox One/S/X encryption remains intact and un-alterable.
You can’t modify seasonal gear on PlayStation either, this is because of the early start
This is true of PS4…moded gear only came from importing from PS3.
PS4 encryption has not been fully broken…what has been hacked is the SAMU processor which decrypts/encrypts save files but this info has not been leaked online and is in the hands of a few hacker groups.
Meaning no save editor programs made by masses. Save Wizard have created a Save Editor for PS4 that uses this SAMU hack but they control what you can mod on a save and they do not allow the edit of D3 save on PS4 to mod in modded gear. They only allow to add mats etc and they charge for this service.
Yes that is designed that way, the ability to export a save file was what a titan could do. There special abilities are often single use abilities, that do not follow physics in a timeline, however they keep things on track.
A bridge title can simulate these abilities for a limited time, even if it can not completely repair the damage to Earth’s timeline caused by a war between heaven and it’s oposition. In fact there are too few arch demons to just try to stitch back together the fabric of our reality, so the solution was to create a demonic horde, from the souls of the dead without a body to return to. It’s win win, for both sides, and about the only fact they will talk about.
The transportation of souls, is a very different problem for each faction. A demon gate would link worlds to create the right energy, this allows them to pass in a mortal form, for the sake of argument. Angelic or demonic energy would be detectable, and that means there are ways to beat it on earth, even if warping reality should cause immunity to damage.
It is not that it is decoded, there is a timed challenge on titan systems. Altering time only exists in a time stop, or time loop. Only a character that survived transport and then import to the void system, could have won the fight. This means we must have won, but we can’t tell if we did, because it has not happened in this version of dimensional space.
Both PS4 and PS5 Diablo3 are totally hackable, and very recently someone hit all of the top leaderboards using modded gear that was transferred from a hacked Nintendo Switch.
