Xbox 360 keywardens 2019

So i just hit level 70 with my crusader and wanted to start on a HF ring. I have searched for 2 days to find keywardens and not any luck. i have searched the correct areas in Acts 1,2 and 3. i have updated the game as of last week and havent been able to find them. any help please?

Are you playing on Adventure Mode or Campaign Mode? I’m not sure if they appear on Campaign Mode.

they are adventure mode only

Mind that there are two ring recipes. One for vanilla D3 and one for RoS.

D3 recipe need 3 ingredients, but RoS recipe need 4 different ingredients.

Portal machine of D3 recipe can only be dropped at exactly char level 60. You cannot get them at char level 70.

To get RoS recipe, need:

  • char level 70
  • adventure mode
  • Torment difficulty
  • 5 million gold

Keywardens appear in Act 1, 2, 3 and 4, in adv mode, Torment difficulty. Portal machines drop rate depends on difficulty level. T1 has only 50%.
T4 has 100%. T5+ has chance of getting second, third, and even fourth machine.

This does not apply to OP

Once you are at Level 70, you will want to go to the following locations

  • The [Key of Bones] may drop from [Odeg the Keywarden] in Act I - [Fields of Misery]
  • The [Key of Gluttony] may drop from [Sokahr the Keywarden]in Act II - [Dahlgur Oasis].
  • The [Key of War] may drop from [Xah’Rith the Keywarden] in Act III - [Stonefort].
  • The [Key of Evil] may drop from [Nekarat the Keywarden in] Act IV - [Silver Spire Level 1]

Upon getting the Keys from each Keywarden, you can then make 1 infernal Machine. Rinse and repeat until you have all the infernal machines to open the portals to get the items needed to make the Hellfire Ring.

Drop rates are 25% at T1 to 50% at T6.
So if you are able to do T6 comfortably to fight the keywardens, that is your best chance to get the infernal keys to make the machines.

One of the quest in season journey is to kill Keywardens in T4 difficulty. In PC version, T4 has 100% key drop rate.

I didn’t know that the key drop rate in Console version is different.

read the topic. X360. so anything that goes now, does not apply to him. he is still on 2.06a. Way before the drops were changed in 2.2 and 2.3

If i die while fighting a keywarden do i lose my opportunity to get a key?

If you are playing hardcore, yes.
