WW Weapon Question

I’m a noob to the WW Barbarian (and enjoying it immensely) and I’m wondering about weapon choices.

I see a lot of season 19 builds using the Bul-Kathos mighty weapon set in gear and then cubing Echoing Fury. These same builds aren’t using a manual Rend skill. Wouldn’t it make more sense to cube Ambros Pride if you’re not going to apply Rend manually? It just seems to me like cubing Ambros is going to offer a lot more damage than the increased attack speed offered by Echoing Fury, or am I completely wrong about that?

Leaderboards are deceptive. Most casual players will cube Ambo’s, use BK weapons. IB weapons are used for pushing higher GR and in the hands of high paragon skilled players perform better at those ranges…

Bul-kathos plus echoing fury is an old set up we used for one season in speed runs. Ambos replaced Echoing fury in the current build.
